Foster Home Needed:

Receiving emails about people having to rehome their cat(s) is deeply distressing and a common source of heartbreak for animal lovers. The grief felt by the owner and the stress on the cat can cause anxiety, fear and confusion. We never judge and only focus on helping the owner through this difficult time and finding a new home for their beloved cat(s).

This lovely cat Jane has found herself in this situation. If anyone can foster or is interested in adopting, please reach out to us asap. Jane is a 1-year-old Ragdoll. She is used to living with other cats and is extremely cuddly and friendly.

Winter is coming and we are trying to get as many stray cats indoors but the struggle is a constant challenge.

In the over 25 years of being a part of a rescue, this year has been the most overwhelming. So many cats needing help more than ever and simply not enough resources.

If you can open your heart and home to just one cat, we can make a difference. We are a foster home based rescue and we cannot bring any cat/kitten into our care unless a foster home can be secured.

Gizmo (the small ball of fluff) and Colby were just two more kittens that we recently rescued from outside. They are the lucky ones as most cats will not survive the cold winter. Most will suffer from frostbite and many will succumb to hypothermia. With no food source or shelter, the outcome for these cats is unavoidable.

Please do not turn a blind eye to these stray cats. Make a difference and show some kindness to them. We are their only hope.

Gizmo will be ready for adoption in approx. 4 weeks and Colby is ready for his forever home now. If you are interested, please contact us [email protected]

Two Tiny Kittens Coming Together:

George the little black one was brought into our local Animal Services as a single kitten at only 4 weeks of age. They reached out asking if we could help. He has thrived in the foster home with the other adult cats and older kittens, but we wanted to find him a friend - someone his own size. George has a big personality and can certainly hold his own, but another kitten his age would be the "purfect" companion. Approx. 2 weeks later, we received an email regarding a single kitten needing help. Tabitha was just the right age. These two have been inseparable and are found together all the time.

They will be ready for adoption in approx. 3-4 weeks.

FUNDRAISER – PET PHOTO SESSIONS!

The pretty girl on the poster is Luna. She was rescued from Animal Services and was adopted by Kati. This wonderful individual wanted to give back to the rescue and will be the photographer for this awesome event.

Schedule your session by contacting Global Pet Foods directly to ensure a spot for your furry companion. Also, we will have some lovely kittens coming for the day that will be available for adoption. Below are some that will be attending.

UPDATE: Mommy cat with fractured pelvis!

Sadie’s surgery and recovery have been a long journey for her, but she has done amazing. After her surgery, she remained at our vet clinic for over a month as cage rest was so very important at this stage. She was finally given permission to be moved to a foster home, but it had to be in a room with no objects that allowed her to climb or jump.

The kind person that found Sadie, offered to foster her allowing her healing to continue. She set up a room just for Sadie that allowed her all the comforts including the company of the cat and dog in the home.

One side of the fractured pelvis is 100% healed the other side is almost there. Sadie has improved to the point where she is now allowed more movement. As you can see from the pictures, she is one very happy kitty thank you to Ashley!

She will be ready for adoption at the end of September/2025. If anyone is interested, please reach out to us [email protected]

Luna has had her surgery!

This sweet girl found herself at our local Animal Services. I had a potential adopter that was looking for a cat that was already declawed and Luna was a candidate. I met her up at the shelter and Luna was rescued.

She was having issues with blood in her urine and was put on a special diet while in the shelter. But once we got her into our care, the issue continued. We brought her to our vet where x-rays were done. There was two very large stones about the size of a M&M that she would not be able to pass and required surgery.

Luna has had her surgery and the stones removed. We can't imagine the discomfort she must have been in as stones do not occur over night.

Kittens/Kittens and more Kittens!!!!

It is so overwhelming and this year is no exception. The need for help doesn't seem to have an end. This pretty mother delivered 6 beautiful kittens in a window well. The people reached out to us and we were lucky that we had a foster home to take them. Thank you again Karen for always being there for these little ones.

Mommy must have belonged to someone as she is just too friendly to be a stray. I had the opportunity to meet her today and what a joy. She seems to be very young herself and is being such a good momma. The kittens were quite tiny, but are putting on weight every day. They will not be ready for adoption until 10 weeks.

Saving One Furry Family at a time!

Four little kittens were brought into our local Animal Services. Thank goodness, the mother cat was shortly reunited with them. Knowing that you were a part of their rescue is the best feeling ever. Foster homes are the core existence to our rescue. Thank you Melanie for coming forward to care for them. Sadly, one kitten did not make it, but the others continue to thrive.

Mandy and her kittens will not be ready for adoption for another 9 weeks. There are so many cats needing help and simply not enough foster homes. If you can open your heart and home to just one cat, please contact us.

This lovely, 9 year old girl named Emma wanted to sell home made cookies with the proceeds going to an animal rescue. We were so fortunate that Emma chose us. We arranged a day for Emma to visit with one of our foster homes who had kittens for her to see. We felt it was important to let her see first hand how the money would help the many cats and kittens we rescue. She was so excited to spend time with three kittens only 5 weeks old and this orange boy named Foxy (who has been adopted)
