Welcome Goldie, our newest foster 🐾

After over 1500km traveled and 40+ hours spent working to bring her to safety, Goldie finally chose a life filled with love, food, and warm blankets 🤍 Huge thank you to The Rescue Collective Foundation for all the time, dedication, and hard work put into getting this sweet girl safely into care.

Goldie is extremely feral, so this past week has been focused on slow introductions, building trust, and creating positive associations. In just one week she’s gone from avoiding hands completely to accepting pets, taking food confidently, coming out of her crate on her own, and starting some leash work.

She’s incredibly smart and showing us every day that patience, consistency, and understanding go a long way. We’re so proud of the progress this sweet girl has already made.

🐾 Tonight’s Pack Walk 🐾
Tonight’s pack walk was such a good one! We focused on staying neutral, working through the chaos that comes with the warm weather, and making good choices around all the extra distractions. From dogs out in their yards, to people on walks, to pups enjoying car rides, everyone put in some awesome work tonight.
Big kudos to both the dogs and their handlers for staying patient, calm, and consistent through it all 👏

Each class is set up with 5-6 different stations where you & your dog work through challenges together, rotating every few minutes so they don’t get bored, overwhelmed or stuck.
