We're pleased to introduce our 💙❤️🏒Montreal Canadiens🏒💙❤️ litter, our first litter of 2026

We repeated our Forge x Kira litter from 2 years ago. We were so pleased with that group of pups and just knew we were in for another beautiful litter.

Kira presented us with 7 Handsome Boys(😅) so the theme was pretty easy.

It's been a painfully looong 2 years, but we're thrilled to be welcoming puppies this spring! I'm not sure if I'll be able to be patient for 2 more weeks, but I'm trying my bestest🤭

Our approved families are already selected, but our puppy application remains open for consideration.

Busy day today! We took Notus to the Mountain Valley Retriever Training Club OFA clinic this morning and started checking off some of his clearances!

So proud of our girl 🦪Pearl🦪!

🏆A new Champion🏆

We've had her out to some pretty random shows over the last 18+ months, and she's picked up some awesome wins along the way.

This weekend was so special, I was lucky to be connected with Xander Scriver who piloted Pearl to her last point! I took the opportunity to capture some ringside photos and videos, which I often miss out on while I'm exhibiting my crew. Thank you so much for making her shine, Xander! You have a new best friend in Pearl, she truly loved being in the ring with you.

We have more than our fair share of spring cleaning to do💩. But, for now we get to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine 🥰☀️

Spring is in full swing at Ausable River Aussies Forge is on high alert to all the good smelling ladies around here 🤣.

We're very fortunate to have enough dog friendly places and spaces for girls to have space from relentless boys(and boys to go to relax) when everyone comes into season. Throughout the day we alternate dogs from the house, to the kennel, to the backyard and some additional crating and rotating to ensure no one is stressed or overly excited, or cooped up for too long.

All that being said,
🤗🌟🤗We are quite hopeful for some spring PUPPIES🤞🏻🐾

We are so proud of our beautiful co-owned girl Pearl for going Reserve Winners Bitch to the major on Saturday, followed by Winners Bitch for 2 points on Sunday under Herding breeder judge Tony Vandendool.

We're so proud of her accomplishments to date and look forward to presenting her to the fancy again soon. She's this 🤏 close to her CKC Championship!
