The involvement of the Atlantic Salmon Federation in this raises serious conflict of interest concerns. ASF has been actively working to shut down aquaculture on the south coast, yet now they’re presenting themselves as supporters of “economic development.” You can’t claim to support growth while pushing to eliminate one of the region’s biggest opportunities. Their role here needs to be questioned, and the MNCA process should be halted until these conflicts are fully addressed.
