Hogan's Cabins

Hogan's Cabins Located Directly across from Northern Bay Sands Park We have 11 two bedroom units. Playground for the children. One of our Cabins is wheelchair accessable.

Full housekeeping cabins with Cable Color TV, Wireless Internet, Propane BBQ's, firepits for campfires. Pets are welcome. Only minutes from famous Hogan's Take-Out and Convience Store, and Johnsons Gardens.

As I sit here….with a few tears falling….on what was suppose to be the last busy weekend of the season I think how lucky we are that Hogan’s Cabins survived the Evil Beast that made its way through our communities. It’s been a horrible month for us all. But especially those that lost their homes to this monster. The staff want you to know that we’re keeping you in our thoughts and prayers as you try to pick up the pieces.
We would also like to send out a HUGE thank you to all the firefighters from all the departments that showed up with hesitation to help, the pilots of the helicopters, water bombers, the military, the forestry department fire fighters…..I know I’ve misused a good many people, but we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
We want to send out a MAJOR thank you to our very own North Shore Volunteer Fire Department. The best of the best. You had the toughest of tough fights to battle. Watching homes of friends, family and some of your very own be taken. True heros doesn’t even cover it. You guys are amazing ❤️❤️❤️

The cabins are going to be looked on Monday to see how we made out. A few personal things has to be taken care of first. Will post an update as soon as we know anything.
We also want to send a big thanks to all the cabin people that have checked on us during all this and offered help afterwards. Overwhelmed doesn’t do our feelings justice. Thank you all so very much❤️❤️❤️

First thing to tell you is that the cabins have survived this evil monster ☺️

We not sure of the condition yet. They are just inside the area that’s still evacuated. Hope that that will soon change and we’ll be able to get in and check it all out. By what people are telling me it wouldn’t have been much longer and they wouldn’t have made it.
Will let you know how we make out when we find out.

Hey everyone

We still don’t have any news on the status of the cabins😢

We’ve decided to say that unless we hear something in the next 24 hours that the cabins are closed for the season💔
Even if the cabins have survived this monster we don’t know what to expect when we are able to get back and have a look. My heart is breaking but my fingers are still crossed.
We would also like to thank all those that have reached out to check on myself and Frank. We are overwhelmed with all the messages❤️

Hopefully we’ll get back on track for next summer🤞

Hi Everybody
Just wanted to give a quick update of what we know…..
first and foremost we want to send out a HUGE thank you to the NSVFD and all the other first responders that are trying to save the North Shore. You guys are amazing and we’re keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers ❤️❤️❤️ Stay safe and watch your back
Was told the cabins were gone but have since had a picture showing they were still there.
Can just pick them out because of the smoke, and who knows how much longer I’ll be able to say they’re still standing. Only thing we can do now is stick together and pray that this beast gets under control and gets put out.
Thank you to all of you who have personally messaged me. It’s overwhelming to be hearing from you.
Will let you all know about the cabins when we know anything

Northern Bay has been evacuated.
Our little village of evacuees have all gone and I’ve been in contact with some of them and they’re all good. Myself and Frank are in Harbour Grace with family.
It’s a horrible time for our area.
Everyone stay safe. Thinking of you all❤️

Just a friendly reminder about the fire ban for the province. I know it sucks to not be able to have your campfires at the cabins but we need to be EXTRA careful.

The management and staff would like to send our thoughts and prayers to all the areas that are being affected by the on going wildfires. Sending a great big thank you to all the first responders, firefighters and water bomber crews…stay safe guys and gals❤️

As much as we don’t like to see rain this time of year, we’re praying for some heavy downpours for a few days….we desperately need it 🙏

Praying for lots of rain….even though we want sun. I don’t know if we can all pray to the rain gods for a down pour between 12 tonight and 4 tomorrow morning. I don’t think that’s to much to ask for🤷‍♀️
