Elders Equine is excited to continue growth of our Brandon satellite clinic, and we’re looking for a motivated and dependable full time or considering part time Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team.

Our Brandon location opened March 2026, and we’re building a team that shares our commitment to exceptional equine care and a positive workplace culture. As part of a respected and expanding practice, you’ll have the chance to help shape our new location from the ground up while working alongside experienced, supportive team members.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about horses and equine health who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work closely daily with our veterinarian, Dr Eveline Juce, to assist with patient care, field calls, and general daily clinic operations.

Responsibilities include:
• Assisting the veterinarian during examinations and procedures
• Handling and restraining horses safely and confidently
• Preparing and cleaning equipment, supplies, and treatment areas
• Supporting inventory management and general clinic organization

Qualifications:
• Prior experience with horses is required; previous veterinary or farm experience is an asset
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive attitude, reliability, and attention to detail

We were at the Marcy Schweizer Memorial Show this weekend honouring a great lady and wonderful Schweizer family!

The competition was great! The horses were amazing and the food was outstanding.

Our Brandon practice is growing daily and we are so excited to hear the amazing feedback from our clients.

Hi everyone!

We would like to do a little introduction to the faces you will be seeing behind Elder's Equine Veterinary Service Brandon.

Dr. Juce was born and raised in Hamiota, Manitoba, where her passion for animals first inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.
After high school, she moved to Alberta to complete her undergraduate studies before being accepted into the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, graduating in 2023.

Following veterinary school, Dr. Juce completed a one-year equine internship at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine to further develop her clinical and diagnostic skills. She then continued at the college as a clinical associate in Equine Field Service before joining the team at Elders Equine earlier this year.

In addition to her veterinary training, Dr. Juce earned her Master of Business Administration from the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan, combining her passion for animal care with a strong foundation in business and leadership.
Dr. Juce is the veterinarian for the Elders Equine Brandon satellite clinic and is excited to be back in the Westman region, serving the community she grew up in and building lasting relationships with clients and their horses.

Lily is a Veterinary Assistant. She was born and raised in the parkland area, where she calls Dauphin her hometown. From a young age, her focus always seems to revolve around horses and has since carried it into her career. In her spare time, you will most likely find her outside, usually working with her own horses or amongst other animals.

Lily is a graduate of the Equine Reproduction Technician program at Olds College, where she gained extensive experience in breeding operations, foaling, and equine management. She thrives in dynamic settings, always eager to learn and take pride in delivering high-quality care to every animal she works with.

Together, we call ourselves the 'dream team' and we are so excited to be on the road, vetting and caring for your horses!
