Beebo stopped by Peaks Family Pets today with her foster for some tasty treats 💛

This sweet girl is just under 1 year old and can be a little shy at first — but with a few treats and some patience, she quickly warmed up to me 🐶✨

Beebo is currently looking for her furever home through ._.Pawsibilities, and we know the right family will fall in love with her gentle nature just like I did.

There have been so many kind comments, messages, and memories shared that it was hard to respond to each one individually — but please know we have read them, felt them, and appreciated every single one. Princess meant so much to us, and seeing how many people she touched over the years has been incredibly comforting during this difficult time.

Today, our hearts are heavy as we announce we had to say goodbye to Princess, our beloved African Grey Parrot and longtime member of the Squamish pet community. 🕊️❤️

For nearly 40 years, Princess greeted generations of customers with her personality, charm, and unforgettable attitude. She made people laugh, startled more than a few unsuspecting visitors, and definitely reminded everyone that the warning on her cage was there for a reason. If you ever got nipped by Princess over the years, consider yourself part of a very exclusive club. 🦜💚

Princess wasn’t just the store parrot — she was part of the heart and personality of the store itself. So many people grew up visiting her, talking to her, laughing at her antics, and sharing stories about her for decades.
While her perch may now sit quietly, the memories she created in this community never will. She leaves behind countless smiles, stories, and a legacy that could only belong to Princess.

Thank you for almost 40 years of companionship, attitude, laughter, and love. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Rest easy, Sweet Bird.💚
