ASLAN

If this guy were a human, he’d be the ultimate goofy cuddle boy — like the big, lovable dude everyone instantly feels safe with.
Picture a tall, slightly clumsy guy with messy hair, a huge, warm smile, and dimples that pop every time he laughs (which is often, and very loudly).

He’s the guy wearing comfy hoodies, basketball shorts, and slides even when it’s a little too cold outside. Always ready with a bear hug that picks you up off the ground and a laugh that’s so contagious, you can’t help but crack up with him.
He’s got a little scar on his knee from a skateboard accident when he was 12 — and he’s still kind of proud of it.

He might be a little clumsy — like accidentally bumping into a doorway — but he’d just laugh it off and dramatically pretend it was part of a dance move. Definitely the type to make up silly songs on the spot and text you dumb memes at 2AM just because he thought you’d laugh.

Total golden retriever energy in a human body.

🐾 Meet ASLAN – The Gentle Bear Looking for His Pride 🐾

ASLAN is a 2–3-year-old male Pitty mix with a heart as big as his head and a story still unfolding. This little bear is on the search for his furever home — one that can help him grow beyond the quirks that come with having been a stray.

Leash walks? Doping grrreeeeaaaat. Car rides? Still deciding. Trusting men? much much better with belly rubs. But when it comes to women (and likely children), ASLAN is a total sweetheart, ready to lean in for affection and love.

He would thrive best in a quiet, spacious home — a farm or acreage would be his dream come true! With patience, consistency, and lots of love, ASLAN will learn to feel safe and secure. His ideal family will give him the time he needs and enjoy the journey of watching him bloom.

We know he’s worth it — and we’ll be right there with you. ASLAN is available through our Foster-to-Adopt program, with support from PBFL to guide you through each step.

ROCCO

If this guy were a human, he’d be the classic rough-and-tumble type — tough-looking on the outside, but with a big, loyal heart underneath.

Picture a dude with a thick build, broad shoulders, probably a few small scars that he wears like badges of honor. His face would have that mischievous grin like he’s always either about to crack a joke or pick a playful fight with his buddies.

He’d wear beat-up boots, faded jeans, and tight t-shirts that show off muscles he’s earned from real work — like construction, mechanics, or maybe even amateur boxing on the weekends. His hands would be calloused, his laugh loud and genuine, and he’d have a way of standing that says “you don’t want to mess with me… unless you’re looking for a good time.”

He’s the guy who’d help you move a couch without even being asked, pick a playful fight in a bar over a pool game, and absolutely light up around his close friends and family.

ROCCO is a large adult Pit Bull with an even larger personality — and he's ready to find a forever family that will cheer him on through life (and his weight loss journey!).

This lovable boulder of a boy is full of affection and always ready to shower his people with love. While his energy can spike into zoomies and playful spurts, it usually fades fast — his “old man bones” are happy to take it easy after a quick romp. He’s got the heart of a pup and the soul of a couch potato.

ROCCO is dog-friendly and would enjoy having a canine buddy or two, though he’s also perfectly content soaking up all the attention for himself. If this dog were a human, he’d be that hilarious, slightly clumsy guy who’s always making everyone laugh — without even trying.

He’d have a big, infectious smile, expressive golden-brown eyes that are always a little wide with excitement, and a strong, stocky build that makes him look tough — until he trips over absolutely nothing and laughs at himself.

He’d probably wear bright graphic T-shirts (like one with a cartoon dog on it), joggers or ripped jeans, and colorful sneakers — maybe even mismatched socks. His hair would be a little messy, like he just ran his hands through it five times while telling a wild story.

Overall, he’s the goofy, golden-hearted friend everyone loves to have around — maybe a little chaotic, but totally unforgettable.
