Post 3 – Becoming Part of the Jays Family

After the Curve Ball Gala we stayed connected with the Jays Care team, and what happened next reminded us just how special this community is.
They came into our home, spent time with our family, and shared our story as part of the TD MVP Spotlight. It was one of those experiences that stays with you for a lifetime.

Watching it air on Sportsnet was surreal, but what meant the most was seeing how stories like ours and those of our Parkland Challenger athletes, buddies, and families can help celebrate inclusion and the power of sport. That is what Challenger Baseball is all about: breaking down barriers, creating joy, building connection, and sharing a love of the game with every athlete.

More recently the Jays Care and Sportsnet teams visited again to film another chapter that will air down the road, either later this postseason or next season. We feel deeply grateful to continue sharing how sport brings people together and shines a light on the heart of our Challenger community.

As the Jays head into Game 6 tomorrow night, we will be cheering them on with full hearts, right alongside the rest of the country.

Tomorrow is the last day to apply for our Guardian home opportunity for this sweet girl. She is sleeping through the night in her crate and is well on her way for being potty trained. She is so smart and incredibly sweet. I can’t wait to see what her future holds. If you are a family who has a puppy from one of our past litters, you would be perfect for this. Applications are still open for a guardian home for this sweet girl. She is 9 weeks old and ready to join her family now.

Guardian families welcome one of our dogs into their home as their own while partnering with us through our breeding program. Home ownership, a fenced yard, and dog experience are required.

I couldn’t be happier knowing that Suki’s legacy will live on through our sweet Pixie, her complete twin at this age. The moment we saw her, we knew she had to stay. She carries so much of her mom’s calm, loving nature, and I know she’ll be just as special.

Her puppies will be beautiful and full of heart, just like Suki’s. The family who gets the chance to be Pixie’s guardian home will be so lucky. She’ll heal hearts, change lives, and one day mother puppies who will do the same.

What a legacy. We are so blessed to be part of it all.

I love my daily puppy snuggles. These puppies are just the sweetest.

Fall is the perfect season to bring home a puppy. Life feels calmer, school and work routines are back in place, and the slower pace gives you the time and space to focus on bonding and training. This is such a great season to build that strong foundation and enjoy every milestone together.

This litter is something special. Their temperaments are amazing!! They are intuitive, confident, playful, and cuddly. Literally
everything we hope for in a Down With Doodles puppy.

What do you feed your labradoodle for a treat?

Suki loves apples!!

Make sure you take out all of the seeds before you feed apples to your dog. They are a great crunchy snack that can also help clean their teeth and freshen their breath.
