UPDATE:
Wow. So many of you have contributed already! I’m continually in awe of the kindness in our community.
I will be in Monday to take inventory of what has been collected, and give a better update and respond to everyone I’ve missed.
From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU. What a privilege it is to witness humanity at its finest♥️
💙 Meet Mike 💙
Mike (and his friend Trevor) have been customers of ours for a long time, and we’ve also been lucky enough to hire Mike to help put away our Courtlyn raw food orders.
This guy can put an order away in two hours that would take me at least 5, and have me popping Advil for days😆
They’re on AISH, live in an RV (yes—even through -30° weather), and never ask us for anything. They do whatever jobs they can within their limitations to earn income, but not lose their support as their personal situations make a consistent job difficult.
They show up (always on time, rain or shine), work hard, and take real pride in what they do. Truly some of the most hardworking, kind humans you’ll meet.
We asked if they would be comfortable sharing a short list of essentials in case any of our amazing customers would like to help out. We’ll be covering the rest to make sure they’re well taken care of.
If you’d like to help, here’s what would make the biggest difference:
• 🧤 Gloves
• 🧦 Socks
• 🧢 Toques
• 🛏 Comforters / blankets
• 👢 Boots (men’s size 9.5–10)
• 👕 Shirts & hoodies (men’s large)
We’re hoping for as much new as possible, as they don’t often get new items and we want everything to last them a long time.
No pressure at all—just an opportunity for community to help community. Thank you for always having the biggest hearts. 💙
