It’s Double Points Day at both locations today, Monday June 16th. It’s a perfect day to get what you need for your dog, or cat (and small animals and wild bird seed but those two categories are only in Stony)🐾

Yes, normally it’s on the 15th but since Stony is closed Sundays, we make some modifications. Next month will be business as usual with double points day on the 15th😊

Today was Leonie’s last work experience day💕

Every student teaches us something, and Leonie really reminds me to try my best to slow down, and remember the little gestures that mean the most. She’s always the first to ask how our day was, and always notices something about us that’s similar to her to show us “we match”.

My staff are too efficient, so a lot of days there wasn’t a ton of work for Leonie and we had to pull out the boring stuff. She’s always happy to do whatever is asked, but is even happier if there’s a little snack promised once it’s complete (same, girl😆).

Some days were really hard working days too, and she powered through the heavy lifting without a complaint 💪 Double snacks those days.

She is always up for a photoshoot, and rarely without a smile. Thank goodness, because Erika is probably tired of being exploited for our social media content because she’s so photogenic😆

I work inconsistently in the summer, so I’m a pretty lame “boss” July-Aug, but I know that she is looking for somewhere to work if any of you are in a hiring position. You can contact me if you’re willing to take her on and I’ll get you in touch.

It has been a pleasure having her with us, and we wish her all the best in her future endeavors♥️
