What an amazing way to start the 2026 OEVA season! Spring Summit brought together over 30 competitors and 8 incredible horses for a weekend full of vaulting, fun, and community.
One of our favourite parts was seeing what makes this sport so special — clubs supporting each other, boosters helping vaulters from other teams, and parents & siblings jumping in and showing off their skills during the barrel classes.
A huge thank you to all of our volunteers who gave their time and energy to make this weekend happen, and to REACH Huron for welcoming us and hosting our first show of the season.
Thank you to our judge Melissa Head for travelling from Alberta to join us again. We appreciate your knowledge, encouragement, and support — and we think everyone can agree that Melissa and Sarah’s fun pairs routine was definitely a highlight of the weekend! 🤩
A special thank you to Jen Walter & Freelance Vaulters for their generosity — from donations for the non-placing classes, the colouring table, airplane toss, and keeping everyone fuelled with beverages and treats all weekend long. Also thank you to Pine Acres for bringing the fun with “Find a Pony,” and everyone who supported the raffle.
Most importantly, thank you to all the parents, guardians, grandparents, families, and supporters behind the scenes. The driving, cheering, helping hands, and endless encouragement are what make this community so special.
Watching these vaulters grow year after year — as athletes, teammates, and people — is truly the best part.
