Equine & Cattle Photography business operated by
Lisa Vanlenthe. Lisa specializes in livestock
photography including farm shoots, cattle & equine
shows, competitions, rodeos and special events. Livestock photo sessions are available on location at
your ranch, at the sale barn, during shows or
competitions. As a pre teen she started competing in gymkhanas. Since than she has done a little showing and enjoys hours of trail riding. Her new interest is getting cow events (cutting, working horse & ranch horse competitions) off of the ground in her area. Photography interest started as a hobby when Lisa was in her late teens when her now husband had given her, her very first film SLR camera. After becoming married and having two children the interest increased since a camera seemed to be attached to her, taking pictures of every moment and milestone of the two little ones. She decided to use her passion and started taking pictures for clients and at events in 2008. She has taken pictures for the Manitoba Rodeo Cowboys Association in 2007- 2011. Lisa has had pictures published in local calendars as well as Manitoba’s Rodeo Associations newspaper “The Cowboy”. In 2011 Lisa was the official photographer for the Canadian High School Cutting Finals in Virden, Manitoba. It was a great experience and so much fun. Lisa's newest venture is designing website banners, business cards and logos for clients. Be sure to check out the 'Design Gallery' for some examples of Lisa's designing work. To Lisa, photography is more than a job. It is her passion as she strives for excellence in that one “perfect shot”.

Every new project brings an opportunity to grow.

I’m challenging myself to try new things, push my creative limits, and keep getting better with every project. There’s always something new to learn, a different perspective to capture, or another skill to work on.

There’s more to our story. 🤎

📸 BACKUP CAMERA ACTIVATED!

After taking tens of thousands of pictures at the MBRA Finals, my main camera decided to give me a little grief on Saturday afternoon at the MQHA Thanksgiving Classic! Thankfully, we were able to finish out the day, but by Sunday, it was time for the backup camera to come out of the camera bag. 😅

I’ll admit, I haven’t used my backup camera much because I absolutely LOVE my main camera. ❤️ The backup is a mirrorless camera, so switching from my beloved DSLR has definitely come with a bit of a learning curve!

But… sink or swim, right?! 🤠

As I work my way through Sunday’s show pictures, I’m honestly so pleased with how they’re turning out! By Sunday afternoon, I felt like I was finally getting the hang of things, and I’m really happy with the results.

Sometimes you just have to roll with the punches, adapt, and keep going! 💪

Thank you all for your patience while I work through the MQHA Thanksgiving Classic galleries. I can’t wait for you to see your pictures!

📸 MQHA Thanksgiving Classic Photo Editing Update

I’m still plugging away at the MQHA Thanksgiving Classic photos! I’m so sorry it’s taking me longer than normal, and I truly appreciate everyone’s patience.

I’m spending every spare moment I can find editing between appointments, day jobs, and all of life’s other responsibilities. ❤️

Friday and Saturday’s photos are finished, and I’m well into editing Sunday’s pictures! There is very likely to be galleries that are mislabeled! Please let me know if you find any :)

A huge thank you to everyone who has already messaged me about placing an order. Your support and patience mean so much to me!

Once I’m finished editing all the show photos, I’ll move on to orders, videos, and private sessions. I promise I’m working as hard as I can to get everything ready for you!

Thank you for supporting Countrified Photography and for being so understanding during this busy season. It truly means more than you know! 🤎📷
