The Souris Dog Park grand opening was a success and we appreciate Mayor Duane Davison marking the occasion by cutting the ribbon to kick off our event today! Thank you to everyone for coming out, and a big shout out to our volunteer group for being so fun to work with.

We have WATER 💦 for all the pups at the dog park! ☀️

BIG THANKS TO:

Reid & Kelly Cowieson for the donation of the 1000 gal water tank!

Darryl Moreau who transported the tank, gathered the needed supplies and did all the installation

Souris & Glenwood Fire Department 🔥 who generously allowed us the use of their water truck to fill the tank

The hose to transport the water to the faucet was also donated 🙏

We The Dog Park purchased the additional needed items to complete the job

If it wasn’t for our generous community and volunteers this could not have been accomplished 👏🏼

Friendly reminder - please clean up after your dog so everyone can continue to enjoy the off-leash dog park. Most people are very responsible and use the dog waste bags and bin, but the occasional pile is ignored. Thank you to all for being respectful and responsible!
