We love sharing snacks with our pets — but some human foods can be genuinely dangerous. Here's the "do not share" list every pet parent should know:
🚫 Grapes & raisins — can cause kidney failure, even in small amounts
🚫 Chocolate — especially dark and baking chocolate
🚫 Xylitol — a sugar substitute in gum, peanut butter, and sugar-free treats
🚫 Onions & garlic — damages red blood cells over time
🚫 Macadamia nuts — weakness and tremors in dogs
🚫 Alcohol and caffeine — no amount is safe
If your pet eats something they shouldn't have, don't wait for symptoms. Note what it was, how much, and when — then call us. Time matters with toxins.
