WestCoast Equi-Care CHA (CHA.horse)EWI/IRD certified instructor, based on Vancouver Island, travel to WA state regularly. I did not come to horses in the way my daughter did.

Coaching available online and in person. 5 years professional experience, 30 as a trainer, rider and competitor. I worked for any opportunity to be near them, brush them and eventually ride. In response to an add for work in exchange for riding, I was gifted a yearling with wobblers disease, although after only a short time; I knew I could not accurately care for the animal (Danger to self and oth

ers) I forfeit my ownership. But that never stop me from believing that I could recover horses from their condition. The majority of the horses in my career have been rescue and rehabilitation with the deliberation of: Maintain for life or euthanize humanely. As the buy and sell of horses are astronomical, I want horses that I know are trained in a way that makes sense and is useful for anyone.

Can't change people. I did not enjoy what happened this morning and am still very upset about a confrontation about volume of music on property. Not unreasonable, acceptable levels.

Claiming the volume disruptive was drastic and unnerving. When that didn't go anywhere a request to move trailer and equipment...

I realized when a person loses control, feels loss or uncertainty, conflict, instability; projection of the intolerance for other things is amplified. I may have been a sponge that absorbed the aggression. I can choose to inflate the feelings that are not my own (yes I have hurt feelings because I am human accused of wrong doing)but I realize no wrong doing occured. My support provided disclosed as much. I encourage you to think before acting when you face transferred agression from a similar situation and tell me about it. What did you do to soften your heart?

Moving Parts- as I look out across the arena I admire the courage it takes to show up across several areas of a uniquely complicated industry. A coach supporting a club, the club supporting new and experienced riders with the same enthusiasm for each. The back support of a business professional starting out, the friends who showed up to repair a trailer floor, the mom who was first a teacher who became a friend that supported a lost little girl. Through struggle I found resentment.
Described as part envy, part spite and part bitterness. Admitting I resent remarks from individuals is the pain due to real or persieved injustices. I face a great many challenges as do all of you.
Holding onto my resentment feeds those hurt feelings- the cure in the Bible is confession of bitterness and willingness to forgive.

I hurt when offering service is shut down and closed off and I am bitter when there is no conversation.

Through forgiveness I am blessed. Open your heart to conversations rather than closing doors or abrupt silence. We are all Gods people, we are made whole through Him.

This specific trial program is designed exclusively for Western riders looking to build a rock-solid foundation, polish their cues, and advance their skills in a supportive, high-energy environment!
🗓 THE SCHEDULE (MONDAYS & WEDNESDAYS)
We are dividing our afternoons strictly by skill level to maximize your progression:

* 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Western Beginner Block (STRICT 3 riders max)
* 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Western Intermediate Block (STRICT 3 riders max)

I am testing out a small-group format to increase rider camaraderie and accelerate learning. Because we are trialing this new setup, I am offering a special introductory rate:

* Regular Rate: $65/lesson
* New Introductory Subscription Rate: Just $50 per lesson!

💎 WHAT’S INCLUDED IN YOUR MONTHLY TUITION:

* Tier 1 (The Competitor): 2 sessions/week (Mondays AND Wednesdays) | $400/month
* Tier 2 (The Recreationalist): 1 session/week (Fixed Mon OR Wed slot) | $200/month
* CHA-Aligned Alternating Curriculum: Week 1 of every month is a deep-dive Ground & Stable Management Masterclass. Weeks 2–4 are intensive Under-Saddle Riding Sessions.

🌤 Island Weather & Heat Proof: Rain, shine, or summer heatwaves—we train! To keep our horses safe under CHA guidelines, extreme winter weather or summer heat (25°C or higher) will automatically pivot our session to elite unmounted horsemanship clinics. Your education never stops, and your schedule stays consistent!
⚖️ EQUINE WELFARE NOTE: To respect the 20% weight-bearing capacities of our current string under CHA safety guidelines, this specific trial program has a strict rider weight limit of 140 lbs (64 kg).
