What does winter training look like for you? For me it’s about taking accountability. Going back to basics and helping this mare be the best she can, getting her low and slow, using the thinking side of her brain and really getting under herself. If someone told me 4 months ago I’d have my hands in my pockets riding Mira with her head in the snow I’d think they are crazy. But consistency shows and here she is relaxed, and just cruising around at a nice walking pace stretching on her own, when asked to woah, standing with no baby sitting needed. That’s winter training for me.

The year has gone by rapidly. We are grateful to the clients who came to our barn and are now friends for the long haul. We have truly enjoyed providing horse training, riding skill assistance, and tailored leather work for each of you throughout the year. While 2026 will look different for us, we will maintain relationships with each of you, cherishing the friendships we have formed ♥️ happy near year!

Farrells Gypsy Snow This mare deserves a spotlight. 🌟
Snow came to our barn in foal and gifted us with a stunning c**t. After facing a heartbreaking loss, we decided it was time to give this beautiful mare a job—just 8 months ago, she had never even been backed.
Fast forward to today: she’s been to rodeos, local club shows, and even the fair. She recently hit a personal best with a youth rider by her side—and we couldn’t be more proud.
She’s not just a pretty face. With heart, talent, and all the speed you could ask for, Snow has exceeded every expectation Joe and I had for her. She’s proof that with the right opportunity, training and hard work the right horse can take riders to their goals.
