Our foals are carefully bred for sport, with temperament, trainability and athletic ability all being important pieces of the puzzle. But genetics are only the beginning! From a young age, we make a point of giving them lots of positive, age-appropriate experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence and a willingness to investigate new things.

Apparently for Ace, today’s very serious training exercise was… making friends with a scarecrow. 😂🌾

Ace is by Blitzen Black Ice and out of Wagon Trail Lila, who competed through Second Level dressage. We’re pretty excited to watch this young man grow up! 🥰

Today we turned the arena into a giant playground and brought all the moms and babies out together to explore an assortment of obstacles, toys, and other fun things!

It’s such a great way for the foals to build confidence, curiosity, and independence while getting to investigate everything at their own pace. 💕
