"I no longer walk my dogs on lawns that have no weeds." - Dr. Lauren Trepanier, University of Wisconsin-Madison

Over Dr. Trepanier's research career she has uncovered links between yard chemicals and bladder cancer. It brings us the question of not only what do you put on your lawn, but what is put on the lawns where you walk your dog?

Bee is a 6 year old Aussie and this was the set up for her first blind gather. She’s never picked up sheep in this field before and hasn’t ever done a gather at quite this distance before either. The first photo is from her POV, clearly CANNOT see the sheep, second photo is my POV and you can see just how far away the sheep are, third photo is her just before she was sent. She did an incredible job and left nothing behind, although a little fast on the fetch. We’ve been proofing and pushing her foundations and she’s turned into an incredibly USEFUL dog, not just an arena dog which is so cool! Next time you go out to train, take a photo from your dogs POV and share it here or hashtag
