Both of my awesome bathers are out right now, one on medical and one visiting family in BC. Please be patient with me today and the coming week as I navigate a sick/injured horse as well as work by myself!

We are also closed Monday August 3rd for the long weekend as well as Monday August 10th as the newest rescue kitten is going in for a spay and possibly to get her paw cleaned up. ( We have named her Queen Breha - or queen B.. star wars fans should love that lol)

Let's talk TICKS.

This week alone we have picked off 7 the dogs and 1 off me!

Preventative is definitely going to be the way to go this year! Please talk to your veterinarian about some sort of preventative. The chewable pills are the easiest and can last 1 to 3 months depending on the type you get!

Please check your dogs on the regular, especially before visiting me! The areas I seem to find them the most is on the chest, between toes and on shoulders but definitely not limited to those areas!

And dont think because your pup doesnt leave the yard that they wont get the buggies. If a stray rabbit comes through, so can the buggies!

Or if one pet goes to daycare and is on preventative that pet can still carry the buggies back to your home until those buggies bite.. the bite is where the buggies die. They can definitely still catch a ride for quite a few hours in the warm weather!

❗️❗️❗️❗️A few IMPORTANT bulletin points!❗️❗️❗️

1. Warning folks about the construction on highway 14. I took a photo of the sign so everyone knows, cause I sure didn't when I went out of town on Saturday!

2. There will be random construction crews on the farm as well starting Monday. I dont know which days they will be here except for monday, currently. PLEASE RESPECT THEIR SPACE.

3. I will NO LONGER be taking credit cards for bills under $200 unless previously discussed. I am truly trying to limit my fees which in turn helps you! E transfer, cash and debit accepted!

4. There will be a price increase coming but I am hoping to keep it to a minimum. (^ see #3)

5. I guess I have to say this again.. MY PROPERTY IS NOT FOR YOU TO WALK YOUR DOGS, IT IS PRIVATE PROPERTY.. They are here for grooming, not for a stroll.
You know what, maybe better yet. You want to walk your dog on my property, come talk to me. $15 and ill make a walk waiver and dogs need to stay on a leash and away from fence lines. ( because people cant seem to listen anyway!.. and I will put up trail cams so make sure dogs are leashed.) Not trying to be rude but its pretty upsetting to me when I have to ask and folks are getting mad at me.
