Rejuvenation Equine Remedial Therapy Hi! I am Laura MacSwain. I graduated in 2018 from the Canadian Equine Therapy Institute’s 4-year Remedial Equine Therapy program.

Since graduation, I’ve been building working relationships within the central Alberta region and Prince Edward Island. Expanding my understanding and knowledge of varying breed structures and different disciplines has allowed me to reach a diverse client base. Currently I work with everything from breeding stock, performance horses (reining, dressage, roping, Endurance, pulling horses, jumping), t

o pleasure and therapy horses. I have also aided in full rehabilitation programs with boarding facilities, trainers and vets. When treating a horse, whether it be the first time or a repeat treatment, the horse is assessed, and treatments are adjusted to its current needs. Various modalities are used in all treatments, these include, but not limited to massage, osteopathy, chiropractic’s, cranio-sacral, kinesio-taping and acupuncture. This wide variety of treatment procedures helps to ensure individual success in restoring motion for each horse. Bringing balance back to the horse, so they can return to the activities they love, is truly the greatest part of what I do.
