Well after taking a break during this pandemic I have decided it’s time to get back at doing what I enjoy...baking my fur baby treats. Now is the time to order for Halloween or just your weekly healthy treats. Again, everything is custom to your pet so when ordering, let me know of any health issues or allergies. With health issues some fruits and vegetables may have an adverse effect. Just because your pet may have health issues or allergies there are alternatives so they can still enjoy a healthy treat. Looking for treats that are homemade? Treats that are made with fruit and vegetables? Ingredients that you know what they are? Then look no further. Everything that I make is fresh and with ingredients that are pet safe and healthy. Everything from pumpkin kisses to birthday cakes with ice cream! Items are made to order to ensure freshness. I can provide your regular treats that are made with pure whole wheat flour with nothing else added to it and for those that are gluten free, I use rice flour. Food coloring is not your regular food coloring … research has proven that this is quite unsafe for your fur babies. Coloring that I use is either vegetable based or natural. Every ingredient that I use has been researched to death. If you wish to have a copy of the ingredients that I use and the benefits of these ingredients just let me know and I will gladly forward it to you. Welcome to Trio Fur Baby Treats. To give you insight into my new venture...I have always loved baking for my pets but at first it was just now and then I would do it. Then I started paying attention to what was in the bagged and boxed treats...well half of what was in them I couldn’t even pronounce! This is what really got me started into researching these items and why I decided it was time to give them treats that I knew would be good for them. Then I began researching every ingredient I wanted to use for their treats. You would be surprised that a lot of what is good for us is not so good for them. I had to do a lot of adding to my list of ingredients and a lot of taking items off my list. Then one of my guys happens to need gluten free which started me on yet another research spree. I am no expert or a veterinarian, I am just a fur baby mom who just wants what is best for my Trio and not worry if I gave them something that was on a recall list.
I have found that the fewer ingredients used the better they enjoyed them so I keep my treats simple, plus you can actually pronounce and know what is in each treat.
I will post ingredients that I use and the benefits, that I have found while researching, and then you can decide what you want your pet to have.
Remember, always check prior to feeding your pet any treat...read ingredients and confirm that the consumption of the item is safe for your pet.
