Yoda’s surgery is coming up next week. We are nervous but, remaining positive and hopeful. ❤️

He will be sad he won’t get to play with Eddie during his recovery!🐾

now what a crazy year. i watched are you ready…. ONE HUNDRED AND TWO different pets. 🤯🤯

not to mention that i saw lots of them on a reoccurring basis. thinking about all my multi pet days and back to back jobs brings me to tears of gratitude🤍🐾

i am so grateful for this year & all of the people and pets i got to meet.

It’s been a little quiet on here with the holidays keeping us busy! I hope everyone had such a beautiful holiday season 🤍

Yoda is doing incredibly well. He’s been healing from his neuter and truly settling into himself, playing more each day, always up for cuddles, happily carrying his toys around, and eating great on his new food. Watching him feel comfortable, safe, and loved has been so special.

His second surgery is coming up soon, and right now we’re just focused on giving him all the love, rest, and care he needs so he’s ready for the next step. He’s shown us how resilient he is, and we’re so proud of him.

Meet Yoda, a 10 month old frenchie 🤍🐾

When Yoda came into my care, his life was being taken for granted. He was scheduled in for euthanasia. Choosing to step in and save him was my only option.🤍

Because of that second chance, and because of the donations that came in for him, I was able to give Yoda the veterinary care he desperately needed, including his neuter. 🏥🐶 At that appointment, I also chose to move forward with X-rays for a concern with his spine, something I wouldn’t have been able to do otherwise. 🩻

Those X-rays revealed something heartbreaking and unexpected: what we think to be metal springs in his stomach, likely from an earlier time in his life. 😔 Getting that answer may have been life-saving, but it also means Yoda will now need another surgery, with costs reaching up to $3,500 on Jan 6th. 🤍💉

Every choice I’ve made for Yoda has been guided by one thing, giving him the healthiest, safest, and most loving future possible. 🫶 He is gentle, resilient, and still so trusting, despite everything his little body has been through. 🐾

I am committed to Yoda for the long road ahead, but I can’t carry the financial weight alone. 🤍

yoda wanted to show everyone his new outfit today 🧥🐶

he’s had such a fun day, we took a trip to pet value where he picked out a new jacket (to help with his very real hatred of the cold ❄️), a new leash, and a slow feeder bowl because this boy is a full-on garburetor when it comes to food 😅

yoda has also started his new specialized diet, and we’re already noticing his allergies improving, which gives us so much hope.

for anyone new here, yoda is a 10-month-old French bulldog who was scheduled to be euthanized due to ongoing house accidents. i stepped in and asked for him to be surrendered instead so he could have a second chance. at his neuter appointment yesterday, we were able to do x-rays for a spinal concern, and unfortunately discovered what appears to be metal springs in his stomach that he must have eaten previously. we were only able to do these x-rays because of the amazing donations, and they may have been life-saving. yoda will now need another surgery, which could be around $3,000, so we need support now more than ever.

update on yoda 🐾

yoda was neutered this morning and is currently recovering and doing well, he handled surgery like a champ and continues to show us just how strong and sweet he is.

thanks to the donations already received, we were able to move forward with x-rays… and what we found was incredibly upsetting. yoda has foreign material in his stomach that appears to be metal springs, something we never expected to see.

because of this, yoda will need exploratory surgery to safely remove what’s inside him and give him the chance to fully heal and move forward. this surgery is necessary.

we are asking for support now more than ever. every donation, share, and kind word helps us get yoda through this next step and closer to the healthy, happy life he deserves.

meet yoda 🐾
a 10-month-old bulldog with the sweetest soul and the softest heart.

yoda was scheduled to be euthanized due to ongoing house accidents. at this time, the exact cause isn’t fully clear, it appears to be a mix of difficulty holding his bowel movements and potty training challenges, not behavioral issues or aggression.

i work at the vet clinic where yoda was brought in, and i couldn’t let his story end that way.

yoda is incredibly sweet, loves people, and does great with other dogs, and as far as we know, cats too. he has a genuinely wonderful temperament and just wants to be loved.

he does have a sensitive stomach and requires a specialized diet, and he will need to be neutered to set him up for success. yoda also has a mild spinal concern (a small space in his spine), which is not causing any issues right now and may never progress, we’re simply being proactive and transparent.

we are currently working hard to find yoda a dedicated, understanding home that can support him while we continue his care and training. this gofundme will help cover vet care, neutering, specialized food, and give him the best possible start before he finds his forever family.
