We were honored to host Mayor Steve Pellegrini at Schomberg Vet Services for a heartfelt farewell party celebrating Dr. Gigi Zeitoun. With over 120 beloved clients and furry patients in attendance, the atmosphere was filled with love and gratitude!
On the left, we have Dr. Gigi, the dedicated former owner who has touched so many lives, and on the right, the amazing Dr. Mina, who is ready to carry on the legacy of compassionate care. 🐾💖

**🎉✨ Celebrating 48 Years of Life, Love, and Gratitude! ✨🎉**
Today, I celebrate not just another year around the sun, but the incredible journey that has brought me to this moment. As I turn 48, my heart is overflowing with gratitude for my health, my career, and the amazing people in my life.
This year marks a significant milestone: **24 years since I graduated as a veterinarian from Schaumburg, Illinois!** 🎓 It’s hard to believe that two decades have passed since I became a fully licensed American veterinarian through the ECFG program of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Specialized through continuing education multiple diplomas in soft tissue surgeries and I became that good surgeon that is passionate about my surgeries and my patients care.
Graduating from Guelph university international veterinarian program Practicing in beautiful Canada for the last 19 years has truly been a labor of love! Every challenge and triumph has fortified my passion and dedication to this profession, shaped by the countless animals I’ve cared for and the connections I’ve made with their loving families.
On the personal side, I’m beyond grateful for my daughter, who is now 20 and embarking on her own journey as she heads off to university. Watching her grow into a confident and empowered woman fills me with pride. She embodies the belief that we don’t need anyone else to validate our worth; all we truly need is ourselves and our inner strength.
To all the women out there—remember that you possess incredible power within you. Embrace your journey, lift each other up, and know that you are enough, just as you are.
Here’s to health, success, and the unwavering support of family and friends! Cheers to new adventures, continued growth, and a life filled with love and purpose ahead.

🌟✨ Hi, I’m Dr. Gigi, a veterinarian and surgeon with over 20 years of experience dedicated to animal care. Yet, I find myself facing discrimination as a female and an immigrant in Schomberg—a community where my hard work and expertise are often overshadowed by prejudice.
It’s painful to see my contributions dismissed simply because of who I am. Every day, I confront this bias, not just for myself, but for all women and immigrants striving to make a difference. We deserve to be recognized for our skills and achievements, not marginalized for our identities.
Let’s stand together against discrimination and support one another. Everyone’s brilliance deserves to shine, regardless of gender or background! 💖🐾

🐾❤️ Meet Ace, our brave little German Shepherd puppy! 💔❄️ This Family Day weekend took a tough turn when Ace had a close encounter with a snow plow that sadly cut his toes. But thanks to Dr. Gigi, who performed emergency surgery, Ace is on the road to recovery! 🐶✨
The love and support from our family and friends mean the world to us right now as we help Ace heal. He’s such a fighter and has already shown us his resilience.
