Our handsome Rio walking in our woods. He loves his frisbees.
We have moved to a waterfront condo beside a huge park and we still have our Blind River summer home/cottage. Rio is available for stud service to approved females. His hips have been certified OFA good and his elbows OFA normal. Rio has never yet met a child or dog he didn't love.

Rio's has passed OFA with Good Hips and normal elbows and is available for stud service to approved AKC or CKC registered female German Shepherd dogs. Rio loves kids, loves every dog he has ever met. Below is our handsome Rio; our gorgeous Edge has been spayed and is enjoying her new awesome country home on Lake Michigan. Thank You Joanne for giving Edge such a wonderful retirement county home. Rio now enjoys a life of swimming at our remote cottage in Blind River, ON. walks in the huge waterfront park beside us. Rio is fed a raw diet that is just the best choice for our carnivores. Rio is available for stud service for CKC or AKC registered German Shepherd Dogs with certified hips and elbows.

We were at our lakeside cottage....we all love it there. Rio and Edge said they wanted a pontoon boat - said our old aluminum fishing boat is too tippy and slippery....we couldn't argue with that logic - ha ha. In photo below they thought they were being left behind and raced to get to the boat before it left the dock.

Rio and Edge romping at our cottage Saturday; it is behind Blind River on beautiful Lake Duborne. Neighbour's big husky came over to play - great time was had by all; Rio and Edge never let go of their beloved frisbees; we must work on sharing...ha ha The little building on right hand side is a sauna building.

My poor Edge/Rio babies in puppy prison....THE HOLDING CELL.....
These newly just bathed babies (2 females) waiting for their new families to come and post bail for them.
One of them was very naughty this morning. While I was bathing one in the dog tub - the other one removed the metal laundry room floor drain cover - leaving deep hole in the floor - not big enough for them to fall into - but who knew they would even figure out how to get that flat metal plate out of the floor - geesh - I heard the metal clanging and banging as she played with it. Don't take your eyes off of those baby puppies - they could be chewing electrical cords, and 300 other items - lol.

Today was vet check day for the Edge/Rio puppies; they are 7 weeks old. The heaviest at 20 lbs. was red collar black and tan male and at 17.9 lbs. was blue collar sable male; the smallest weight wise was black and tan female at 15.7 lbs; Brown collar male's right testicle is not down yet. Vet couldn't believe how huge and healthy they looked; nothing compares to raw fed puppies......the coats, the size. Sable female below - was pink collar but she outgrew it - now she's yellow collar. They all got their first puppy vaccination; Edge got her rabies vac which was due....she closely watched what the vets were doing to her babies....such a good mom. The vet's loved Edge; everyone loves Edge and she watched everything that was going on with her 'treasured' babies; she was just wandering around loose in the vet's facility - with covid they only have one family inside at a time so didn't have to worry about any grumpy dogs walking in.
