Information regarding the upcoming 2025 season! Please take a quick read through before msging to book a spot. ๐
For our REGULARS:
All of our twice weekly, weekly, biweekly and monthly year-round regulars - your days will remain the same throughout the spring. However, the time at which we show up will likely vary. Once the crazy rush is over, things will go back to normal. Thanks for your patience and understanding!!
When you get IN TOUCH to BOOK your spring cleanup.
Please let us know:
- Where you're located (including area of the city, if you're within Saskatoon)
- How many dogs you have
- Approximately when was the last time the waste was picked up
- Is your yard majority grass, rock or dirt.
These factors help us determine what day to put you on, and the length of time we figure the job will take. They do NOT affect the price for our spring cleanups.
Currently, we service Saskatoon, Martensville, Warman, and Sunset Estates. We will consider branching out to other surrounding communities if we are able to fill an entire day. So please don't hesitate to ask!
WHEN to BOOK:
You're welcome to get in touch any time after March 31st, which is when we are officially opening up pre bookings.
We are aiming to start by mid - late April (ish) right now, to allow the snow to melt off.
We do REQUIRE the snow and ice to be a MINIMUM of 90% gone.
This is better for everyone involved. You get a job that's worthy of your money, and you won't have to deal with a 2nd pickup when things do finally melt. And we aren't stuck in a single yard for hours digging through snow and chipping ice.
Please remember our biggest season, and what sustains us year round and allows us to continue to offer this service... is the springtime.
So we have to get through jobs as efficiently and smoothly as possible (while still providing the quality you've come to expect!).
RESPONSES:
Please allow up to 48 hours for us to get back to you. I am taking care of all of the communication and booking, but also out on the job all day. Your patience is incredibly appreciated!!
If that 48-hour window has come and gone, however, then please send another msg. There's always a chance some accidently get missed.
On the DAY OF YOUR APPT:
As I tell everyone when you book, we work from 7am-8pm. Your appt could fall anywhere within that window on your specific date.
We WILL be in touch with 20-45 minutes' notice before arrival.
At that time please:
- Unlock your gates
- If the latch is tough to open/hard to reach etc please prop the gate open for us
- Remove any obstacles from around the yard, and especially near the exit!
The bags are incredibly heavy when we are done. For our safety, we really appreciate a clear path. If we are unable to get the bags out of the yard, they will be left for you to deal with.
- Have your dogs in the house or garage. We LOVE to meet everyone's dogs!!!
But during the spring rush, we just don't have the time to be properly introduced/make them comfortable with us.
We understand you may want a more specific window of time. Unfortunately we can't provide that. There are so many variables throughout our day that it's impossible to predict. And being a "one car team," we need to stick to a specific route to fit as many people in as possible.
We do NOT require you to be home while we are there.
PAYMENT:
We require payment as SOON as the job is complete.
If paying cash, please let us know beforehand and have it hidden somewhere safe. Or be ready to meet up with our team when the job is complete.
If payment is by etransfer, please have that sent over immediately when you get the msg we are finished up (which will also have our etranster information in it).
And remember to include your address in the memo line. This is so we don't confuse your payment with anyone else's.
People often ask if they can tip.
Absolutely, you can! We never expect a tip, but they are always very appreciated. And they go directly to the folks that did the job for you.
CANCELING/FEES:
We require a MINIMUM of 48 hours (more is better, whenever possible! ) to cancel or postpone. Anything within that window is subject to a cancelation fee.
The closer to your appt time, the higher the fee.
We need to have time to fill your spot and shuffle people around.
The one exception is if we have a snowstorm! No one can predict what the weather is going to do. IF that happens, we will be in touch with whoever is booked on the affected days to move you around.
The full cleanup fee will be due if we arrive and are unable to access your yard. We won't be tracking people down to let us in. The yard needs to be prepared before we show up.
