We are open from 12pm-8pm today for you to get your feline fix or to satisfy that coffee craving! ☕️

Happy Wednesday, everyone!

I would like to introduce 2 new policies beginning today:

1. Our front door will remain locked during business hours, and we will be accessible by doorbell. I have put our merchandise on display up front, and with the door being unlocked, it makes our merch a vulnerable and easy target for theft, especially if we are working in the back with the cats.

2. We are now a SHOE-FREE facility year round. Outdoor shoes must be removed, and socks MUST be worn. If you do not have socks, we have unisex socks available for purchase for $2 a pair. *This policy can be modified for wheelchair users and for guests with reduced mobility*

Happy Sunday! 😺

I want to give a huge thank you to everyone who has made Sarcan Drop and Go donations, etransfer/cash donations, those who have donated their time to our cause, and everyone who has stopped in for admission, snacks to-go, or purchased merchandise to support our move to a new location ❤️❤️

The details about our move are still wishy-washy. We are looking for the best possible space that suits our current needs, the need for a small kitchen, and potentially the opportunity to expand in the future. Our next location is hopefully going to be our permanent location, which is why finding a spot is so challenging.

I appreciate your patience while we iron out this very wrinkly process! I will update everyone as soon as I have something formally signed.

Still, THANK YOU!! for everyone's amazing support and love for our cause. Myself and the cats feel valued in our community, and that keeps us pushing for the very best we can be!

Come enjoy this refreshing rainy day with an Iced Macchiato or an Iced Saskatoon Berry Lemonade while you cuddle with some kitties! Open 12pm-8pm today!

hand painted, individual sized teapots available today for the last day of the sale! They hold about 350mL and are dishwasher resistant and microwave resistant!

Each teapot is $25 and proceeds support our kitties and our move!

*we have more teapots they just need to be painted and cured before they will be available at the cafe :)

Happy Monday! The 2nd Ave Sidewalk sale is just around the corner, and I wanted to give you a small sneak peek at some custom items I have been making!!

We will have various 20oz tumblers both branded and with lots of other patterns with more to come!

We're starting off this smoky Saturday with some good vibes from our recent adoptions!!

Congratulations to Oatmeal, Cinnamon, Charcoal, Amari, Oreo Minis, Garfield, Deedle, Max, and Porridge!!! ❤️❤️ this brings our adoption total to 189!!!

We are extra thrilled that Charcoal and Garfield have finally found their forever homes where they will be the only cats to spoil!! 👑

Every kitty that is adopted is always missed, but we know that they will do that much better in their own home where they are the center of attention ❤️

Happy adoption days to all of these adorable felines, and may you and your families have the longest and best life together!! 😻😺

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Baxter is excited to tell you that we are OPEN today, Tuesday, July 1, for the holiday from 12pm-6pm!

As you can see, he is eagerly awaiting pets and playtime!

Happy Pride day! Little Amari would like to show you how to get to the café during the Pride Event.

Unfortunately this year, maps were not posted about the road closures, so we made our own map illustrating the open roads to get to us.

Blue indicates getting into the cafe from Spadina Cres to 21st St, and from 21st you can head straight to 2nd Ave and to the cafe.

Red indicates exit routes from the cafe. The cafe is essentially blocked in from 20th to 22nd, and 1st avenue. To exit you need to take the alley between 21st and 20th, and you will come out on 3rd Avenue. You will need to u-turn on 3rd Avenue and go back to 21st, from there you can follow the blue line to exit downtown.

We hope you can manage the road closures to come out and meet our 5 new kitties: Amari, Zelda, Oreo Minis, Buckwheat, and Eeyore!

What an eventful weekend.... if you heard some crashing and banging sounds from the back over the last few days, the cats are fine, but they took down half of our shelving 😑😿 Clearly they are eager to get out of this space and into something bigger!

I must repair a few things and deal with some electrical problems.

Because the cats can't let us have anything nice, we will be closed PERMANENTLY on Tuesdays. I need more time in my week to get all of our maintenance done.
