Jett is a gorgeous older kitten with plenty of playful energy. She is a sweet and affectionate girl. Sadly, Jett is being returned to Cat Chance because she is not getting along with her cat roomie. She’s a dominant girl and would do great along in a home as the queen of the castle.

Jett loves chasing spring toys, showing off her silly kitten antics, and then settling in for some love. She is a big fan of belly rubs and curling up next to you on the couch. She also likes to supervise dinner preparations from her favorite bowl on the countertop. Not sure if she’s more supervisor or assistant, but she is consistent!

Jett is ready to find that special someone to call her own forever. She has been vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped and is ready to share her love!

Jett’s owners will also share the cat tree that Jett has called her own, plus a cat tunnel and her favourite cat toy. Please DM us for more information!

**VOLUNTEERS & BOOKS NEEDED FOR SEPTEMBER 12!**

We are very much in need of some volunteers for our book sale! 1435 Windemere Crescent, Sarnia, September 12 from 10:00-2:00.

Shifts include:
-Setting up at 9:00 am, Sept 12
-Helping the crew anytime from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm during the sale
-Packing up books and possibly taking a load for donation at 2:00 pm
-Donating baking for our bake sale!

We would love to take any extra books off your hands for our BOOK SALE FUNDRAISER happening September 12, 10am-2pm at 1435 Windemere Crescent in Sarnia.

Books donations can be dropped off anytime at two locations:

242 St Clair Parkway, Corunna — porch of the big red brick house
Or
1435 Windemere Crescent, either in the garage (knock on front door), or on the table in front of the garage if Diane isn't home. There will be a tarp to cover your bags/boxes in case of wet weather.

Last year, our Book Sale Fundraiser was one of Cat Chance's most successful events. Thanks to an incredible community of supporters, we raised much-needed funds for the cats in our care while giving hundreds of books a new home.

If you've been looking for a way to support Cat Chance but fostering isn't possible for you, this could be the perfect fit. Thank you!

**URGENT** We are short on time to find a new home or foster Stella and Pixie. They need a new home by the end of the month.🐱🐾🐱

Stella and Pixie were adopted earlier this year and have been enjoying life in their home together. Unfortunately, a change in circumstances means they now need a new home.

We want to be very clear that these girls are not being returned because of any behavioural issues. They are friendly, social, affectionate cats who have done everything right. They simply need a new home where they can continue to thrive.

Stella and Pixie are closely bonded so will be kept together. At this time, we're searching for either a foster home or an adopter willing to welcome both girls. If you've been thinking about adding a pair of wonderful cats to your family, this could be the perfect opportunity.

If you can help Stella and Pixie, or would like more information, please DM us. If you can't give them a home but would like to help, please share this post. We appreciate your support in helping us find the right home for these girls!

😻TODAY'S FEATURED BOY IS PACKET!😻

Meet Packet, a fun-loving year-old sweetheart who’s bursting with energy and charm! This little guy is the definition of playful — he loves chasing toys, and he’s an absolute pro at snagging flying balls and toy mice mid-air.

Packet also has a huge heart. He adores the other cats in his foster home and spends his days playing, cuddling, and being everyone’s little buddy. He’s well-socialized, affectionate, and incredibly friendly — the kind of cat who brings joy wherever he goes.

He would be thrilled to have a forever family of his own, and he’d be even happier if he could go home with his bestie Kit, with whom he shares a special bond.

🐱OUR FEATURED GIRL TODAY IS KIT!🐱

Meet Kit-- a sweet, shy girl looking for her human! Kit was rescued along with her siblings Crisp and Twix, who have long ago found their forever homes. Now it’s Kit’s turn! She’s a happy, playful, rambunctious girl, but also quite shy.

To help her blossom, we introduced her to another kitten, Packet, and the two hit it off instantly! Packet is outgoing and social, and he’s been a wonderful, confidence-boosting buddy for Kit. She’s also become fast friends with Franny, one of our young resident cats.

Because Kit really thrives with feline friends, we’d love to see her adopted with Packet or Franny so she has a companion to help her feel safe and supported as she settles into her forever home. She will also be available for adoption into a home with an appropriate, friendly animal she can befriend. Kit will require patience and a bit of time to settle in. She is ready for adoption now!
