A huge thank you to Bluewater Power for their generous donation to our rescue! ❤️

Kitten season is in full swing, which means our rescue is overflowing with mouths to feed, mounting vet bills, supply needs, and around-the-clock care. Support like this makes a real difference and helps us continue saying yes to the cats and kittens who need us.

In our ongoing efforts to get us through this year's kitten season, Aselyn, one of our amazing, dedicated volunteers, is organizing a garage sale with 100% of the proceeds going towards the rescue. Kitten season is always one of the busiest and most expensive times of the year for all the rescues.

The sale will be taking place on River Road on June 6, so there will be lots of traffic and great visibility. Please check out the attached poster for all the details and be sure to stop by and support the cats and kittens in our care!

We will also have a donation drop box on site for cat/kitten food, litter, and used towel donations!

If you’d like to donate items for the garage sale beforehand, please reach out! Every item sold helps us to provide care and safe shelter.

This is a truly heartbreaking post for us to write.

Tiggy is coming back to our rescue for the THIRD time, and honestly, we are devastated for her. At 10 years old, this sweet girl deserves stability, comfort, and a place where she can finally know she’s home for good.

Tiggy is a timid, reclusive cat. She hides. She keeps to herself. She is not mean, aggressive, destructive, or difficult in any way. She uses her litter box, she’s quiet, clean, and respectful of her space. She simply isn’t the kind of cat who bursts into a room demanding attention.

What Tiggy needs is someone who understands and accepts this. She may hide for a long time. She may never be the cat doing zoomies through the house or climbing into your lap for cuddles, but she still deserves love. She still deserves safety. She still deserves a forever home.

We are desperately hoping there is someone out there willing to give this gentle girl a calm, patient, permanent home with someone she can learn to trust at her own pace.

Tiggy is not demanding. She asks for very little, just a safe, warm place to belong. If you think you may be the right person for Tiggy, please reach out with any questions. More than anything, we want her next home to be her forever home.

Description: Styx is one of four babies born to Miah, who has been an excellent mother. They all came into our care the day after the birth of the litter and have been loving fostered. Styx is the most adventurous of the kittens so far and he loves to explore his foster room. He also loves grappling with his siblings and mama. We’d love to see Styx adopted with one of his siblings, Tree or Fly, but if not, he’ll be adopted into a home with an appropriate pet he can befriend. Styx will be ready for adoption around June 12.
