Hi, I’m Ever—the heart and hands behind Calm & Ground Co. A local pet waste and pet support solution servicing the Salmon Arm area.
Animals have been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by them, especially dogs and cats, and over the years that love has expanded to include reptiles and all kinds of creatures that need patient, attentive care. I’m someone who genuinely respects all living beings, and I'm happiest when caring for animals in ways that help them feel safe, calm, and understood.
That love deepened during my time in Mexico, where I spent months caring for animals and experiencing a slower, more grounded way of living. Being immersed in daily animal care reminded me how natural—and necessary—it feels for me to work closely with them. It also highlighted how disconnected I had felt in the corporate world.
Before Calm & Ground Co., I worked in environments that were fast-paced, emotionally distant, and driven by constant output. Over time, that lack of warmth and meaning led to burnout. I realized I needed to build a life and career that aligned with my values—one rooted in compassion, presence, and genuine care.
Calm & Ground Co. was created from that realization. This business allows me to do what I love—supporting animals and the people who love them—while creating a sustainable, heart-centered livelihood. I believe animals thrive when they feel calm, safe, and cared for, and I bring that intention into every interaction.
