CETTE CH**TE EST AU REFUGE/THIS CAT IS AT THE SHELTER

LAGON est une jolie jeune demoiselle au pelage blanc et roux et à l'adorable petit nez rose bonbon. Ses yeux expressifs, d'un vert-doré, vous observent avec une intensité mêlée d'inquiétude et d'anxiété. Cette douce minette est agée d'environ 12 à 15 mois et est en bonne santé.

LAGON et quatre frangins de la mëme portée ont été pris en charge par le refuge à la fin février 2026. La belle fille et ses frères et soeurs avaient été trouvés errants dans la cour d'une famille plus tôt cette année-là. Capturés par le contrôleur animalier municipal, ils ont été ramenés, à la grande surprise des gens qui avaient signalé leur présence exactement au même endroit quelques jours plus t**d. Oui, tous avaient été sterilisés (leurs oreilles fraichement taillées en témoignaient), mais le problème demeurait entier... cinq jeunes chats vulnérables se retrouvaient encore dehors, dans le froid et la neige. Nous ne pouvions pas laisser cette situation perdurer : ils n'auraient pas survécu au rigoureux hiver.

Une fois transferée dans la salle commune ou vivent une vingtaine de colocataires félins, la pauvre chérie est devenue très stressée et craintive face à ce changement soudain et radical d'environnement. Elle est restée cachée plusieurs jours. Cette charmante survivante est modérément active et passe beaucoup de temps blottie contre l'une de ses soeurs ou contre son frère pour se sentir en sécurité. Les voir se toiletter et se réconforter mutuellement est vraiment touchant. Offrez-lui quelques gâteries - LAGON s'approchera prudemment pour voir ce que vous lui proposez et c'est une excellente facon de créer un lien avec elle et de bâtir une relation toute en douceur.

Comme LAGON a eu peu de contacts avec les humains avant son arrivée au refuge, sa socialisation est encore en cours, mais elle possède un bon potentiel pour devenir une ch**te affectueuse. LAGON est tranquille et peu vocale, sans aucun signe d'agressivité envers les gens. Parmi sa fratrie, c'est elle la plus curieuse et la plus active : elle adore observer les oiseaux dans les mangeoires et grimper, alors elle appréciera certainement un grand arbre à chat dans son futur foyer. Nous interagissons avec elle aussi souvent que possible pour l'aider à sortir de sa coquille et à gagner en confiance, et les progrès commencent à se faire voir. Bien qu'elle demeure timide, si vous l'approchez avec beaucoup de délicatesse, LAGON accepte les caresses, puis, lorsqu'elle en a assez, elle file se refugier sur une tablette en hauteur, difficile d'accès. La coquette ne se laisse pas encore prendre dans les bras, mais nous croyons qu'avec du temps, et dans un environnement plus paisible et moins bruyant, LAGON deviendra de plus en plus affectueuse, sociable et facile à manipuler.

LAGON s'épanouira dans un foyer sans enfants et sans chiens, car elle reste nerveuse et se laisse facilement surprendre par les bruits forts ou les mouvements brusques - elle ira se cacher si elle a peur. Un environnement calme est essentiel à son bien-être. LAGON s'entend très bien avec les autres chats et serait absolument ravie d'etre adoptée avec l'une de ses deux sœurs, LUMEN #10820 (sa préférée) ou LUNE #10815, ou encore avec son frère LICHEN #10818. Sinon, nous recommandons un foyer ou vivent déjà un ou plusieurs chats sociables et confiants, capables de la rassurer et de lui montrer que la présence humaine peut être une chose positive. Ses adoptants devront lui offrir le temps nécessaire pour s'adapter à son nouveau milieu et aux personnes et/ou animaux qui y vivent.

LAGON is a pretty young lady with lovely ginger & white fur and an adorable candy-pink nose; her expressive greenish-gold eyes look at you intensely with a mix of deep worry and anxiety. This sweet girl is about 12-15 months old and in good health.

LAGON and four other littermates were taken in by the shelter at the end of February 2026. The beautiful lass and her siblings had been found wandering in a family's yard earlier in the year. They were captured by the municipal animal control officer and much to the surprise of the people who had reported the strays, the entire quintet was brought back to the same location a few days later. Yes, all the cats had been sterilized (each one had a freshly tipped ear to prove it), but the problem remained...five young, vulnerable cats were still outside in the cold & snow. We could not allow this situation to continue; they would not have survived the harsh winter.

Once transferred to the communal room where about twenty feline roommates live, the poor girl became quite stressed and fearful due to the sudden and drastic change of environment, and she stayed hidden for several days. This charming survivor is moderately active and tends to spend much of her time pressed against one of her sisters or brother to feel safer. It is truly heartwarming to see them grooming and comforting one another. Offer her a few treats, LAGON will cautiously approach you to see what you have to offer - it's a great way to start interacting with her and build a relationship very gradually.

Because LAGON had limited contact with humans before arriving at the shelter, her socialization is still a work in progress, but she shows good potential to become a very loving kitty. LAGON is quiet and gentle, with no signs of aggression toward people. This darling is the most curious and active of her family and enjoys looking outdoors at the birds in the feeders and climbing so she would certainly appreciate a tall cat tree in her new home. We try to interact with her as often as possible to help her come out of her shell and build confidence, and it is beginning to pay off. Although still timid, when you approach her very delicately, LAGON will accept gentle caresses, and when she has had enough, she will scamper off to a top shelf that's a bit hard to reach. The furry princess does not yet allow herself to be picked up, but we believe that with time, and in a more peaceful, less noisy setting, LAGON will grow increasingly affectionate, sociable, and easy to handle.

LAGON will thrive in a home without children and without dogs, as she remains nervous and easily startled by loud noises and sudden or quick movements - she will hide if frightened. A tranquil household is essential for her wellbeing. LAGON gets along well with other cats and would be absolutely delighted to be adopted with one of her two sisters LUMEN #10820 (her favourite) or LUNE #10815 or with her brother LICHEN #10818. Otherwise, we suggest a home with already one or more friendly, confident cats who could reassure her and show her that human companionship is a good thing. LUMEN is a gorgeous female ginger tabby...which makes her pretty special as most often that colouring is seen in males. The darling kitty is about 12-15 months old and she is in good health. Her pretty greenish-gold eyes are filled with curiosity but they also express all the anxiety and deep worry she is currently feeling. We want to offer LUMEN a safe and confortable home with people who will patiently nurture this furry princess and help her transform into a content housecat !

Ce chéri est maintenant prêt à tourner la page… et à découvrir la vie dans un foyer aimant, entouré de personnes bienveillantes qui sauront lui offrir toute l’affection qu’il mérite.

LUNE est tout simplement ravissante avec son soyeux pelage couleur écaille de tortue et ses sublimes yeux verts-dorés, au regard lumineux, empreints d'une grande bonté mais aussi d'une grande inquiétude. La jolie fille a environ 15 mois et est en très bonne santé. Cette petite princesse sur 4 pattes recherche maintenant des personnes attentionnées et aimantes qui la choisiront comme compagne pour la vie !

LUNE ainsi que 4 autres chats de la même portée ont été pris en charge par le refuge à la fin février 2026. La magnifique demoiselle, accompagnée de sa fratrie ont été trouvés errants dans la cour d'une famille en début d'année. Capturés par le contrôleur animalier de leur municipalité - et à la grande surprise des gens qui avaient fait le signalement - voilà que le quintet a été ramené au même endroit quelques jours plus t**d. Certes, les minets avaient tous été stérilisés (chacun arborait une oreille fraichement taillée pour le prouver) mais le problème restait entier...cinq jeunes chats vulnérables se trouvaient dehors dans la neige !! Nous ne pouvions laisser cette situation perdurer, puisqu'ils n'auraient pas survécu au rude hiver.

Une fois transférée dans la salle commune ou habitent une vingtaine de co-locataires félins, la pauvre s'est montrée passablement stressée et craintive en raison du changement radical et soudain d'environnement et est restée cachée pendant plusieurs jours. La charmante rescapée est modérément active et a tendance à passer beaucoup de son temps, collée sur un ou plusieurs de ses frères/sœurs pour se sentir plus en sécurité. C'est vraiment attendrissant de les voir se toiletter et se réconforter mutuellement. Offrez-lui quelques gâteries - LUNE les dévore avec grand plaisir; la séduisante chérie vous gratifiera de clins de yeux enjôleurs :)

LUNE ayant eu peu de contacts avec les humains avant son arrivée au refuge, sa socialisation reste à parfaire mais elle démontre un grand potentiel pour devenir une ch**te des plus aimables. LUNE est très placide et douce, sans aucun signe d'agressivité en présence des humains. La mignonne se fait très discrète et sage dans son petit panier. Nous tentons d'interagir avec elle le plus souvent possible pour l'aider à prendre graduellement confiance et cela commence à porter fruit 🙂 Quand elle s'est habituée à vous, la superbe LUNE s'avère être très tendre, gentille et mielleuse, acceptant avec joie les douces caresses mais reste le plus souvent installée dans sa cachette dans un coin sombre et un peu difficile d'accès. La beauté ne se laisse pas encore prendre dans les bras, mais nous croyons qu'avec le temps, et dans un milieu plus convivial et moins bruyant, LUNE deviendra de plus en plus affectueuse, sociable et malléable.

LUNE sera heureuse de vivre dans une demeure sans enfants et sans chiens car elle demeure craintive et nerveuse lorsqu'il y a des gestes brusques ou rapides près d'elle - elle risquerait de se cacher si elle a peur. Il lui faut donc un domicile paisible pour assurer son bien-être. LUNE accepte bien la présence des autres chats et serait vraiment ravie d'être adoptée avec son frère LICHEN #10818 (son préféré !) ou avec une de ses 2 sœurs LUMEN #10820 ou LAGON #10819. Sinon, on suggère qu'elle puisse vivre dans une maisonnée ou il y a déjà un jeune chat sociable et amical ce qui devrait la rassurer et lui montrer l'exemple. Sa nouvelle famille devra naturellement lui laisser le temps requis pour s'acclimater à son nouvel entourage, avec les personnes et/ou animaux y vivant.

L'envoûtante LUNE est un petit trésor mystérieux qui vous enchantera avec ses allures de déesse féline et avec sa nature affable et sensible. Cette formidable ch**te gagne tellement à être connue - il s'agit d'être un peu patient pour qu'elle s'épanouisse et vous serez récompensé et comblé de bonheur ! Nous souhaitons ardemment lui trouver un foyer avec des gens bienveillants qui la traiteront avec toute la délicatesse quelle mérite et qui s'engageront à choyer cette attachante et merveilleuse amie poilue.

LUNE is simply exquisite with her silky tortoiseshell coat and her stunning green‑gold eyes—bright, expressive, filled with both gentleness and deep worry. This lovely girl is about 15 months old and in excellent health. This little four‑legged princess is now hoping to find caring, loving people who will choose her as their lifelong companion.

LUNE and four other cats from the same litter were taken in by the shelter at the end of February 2026. The beautiful young lady and her siblings had been found wandering in a family’s yard earlier in the year. They were captured by the municipal animal control officer and—much to the surprise of the people who had reported them—the entire quintet was brought back to the same location a few days later. Yes, all the cats had been sterilized (each one had a freshly tipped ear to prove it), but the problem remained… five young, vulnerable cats were still outside in the snow. We could not allow this situation to continue; they would not have survived the harsh winter.

Once transferred to the communal room where about twenty feline roommates live, the poor girl became quite stressed and fearful due to the sudden and drastic change of environment, and she stayed hidden for several days. This charming survivor is moderately active and tends to spend much of her time pressed against one or more of her brothers or sisters to feel safer. It is truly heartwarming to see them grooming and comforting one another. Offer her a few treats—LUNE devours them with enthusiasm; the pretty damsel will reward you with slow, flirtatious blinks.

Because LUNE had very limited contact with humans before arriving at the shelter, her socialization is still a work in progress, but she shows tremendous potential to become a wonderfully sweet kitty. LUNE is calm and gentle, with no signs of aggression toward people. This darling keeps to herself and rests quietly in her cozy basket. We try to interact with her as often as possible to help her gradually build confidence, and it is beginning to pay off :) . Once she becomes accustomed to you, the gorgeous LUNE reveals herself to be tender, kind, and very sweet, happily accepting soft pets—all the while remaining tucked away in her hiding spot, usually in a dim corner that’s a bit hard to reach. The furry beauty does not yet allow herself to be picked up, but we believe that with time, and in a more peaceful, less noisy home, LUNE will grow increasingly affectionate, sociable, and easy to handle.

LUNE will thrive in a home without children and without dogs, as she remains nervous and easily startled by sudden or quick movements—she may run to hide if frightened. A calm, quiet household is essential for her well‑being. LUNE gets along well with other cats and would be absolutely delighted to be adopted with her brother LICHEN #10818 (her favourite!) or one of her two sisters LUMEN #10820 or LAGON #10819. Otherwise, we suggest a home where there is already a young, friendly, confident cat who could reassure her and show her the ropes. Her new family will need to give her the time she needs to adjust to her new surroundings and to the people and/or animals living there.

The enchanting LUNE is a mysterious little treasure who will captivate you with her goddess‑like elegance and her gentle, sensitive nature. This wonderful cat has so much to offer—she simply needs a bit of patience to blossom, and you will be rewarded with joy and fulfillment.
