We are saddened to announce the passing of John Peter Van Haren of Ridgetown on Friday, November 3, 2023, at the age of 88. It is with deep sadness that we had to suddenly say good bye to one of our yearlings, Archie. He was born last year to Lori's mare Magic, he came out with a stunning silver coat, hence the full name of Argentum GLF. He had been showing signs in the last weeks of not doing well. He passed through the night. The Post Mortem, as difficult as they are, was needed to discover that Archie passed from an Aortic rupture. In working with The Fenway Foundation, FHANA and KFPS we will be submitting information to help further the genetic testing to help find some positive light to this unfortunate situation. Forever in our hearts...RIP our beautiful boy 💔

We had great success with our Crown Mare Janneke Thursday night/ Friday morning. She was bred to Norbert and we received a filly! Dad (John) was over to approve of his new "wish" horse. Both mare and foal are doing well.

We had a great day even though it didn't go as planned. The impromptu Quadrile team should have set a date for their next practice!
