He was awarded his first points the two days we attended at the Thousand Islands Kennel Club Show. Thanks to both judges Jean-Christophe Bouliguez on Friday and Barbara Heal on Saturday awarding him with best of breed!
I am so thankful to Eline for entrusting me with this stunning boy. He is not only beautiful outside but also inside. His temperament is incredible. He’s my little sidekick at home ! So proud of him this weekend, and looking forward to our next show !

Wonderful past two days at the Thousand Islands Kennel Club Show in Spencerville, ON! So proud of my new Canadian Champion Wess (pending CKC) thank you to all the judges for recognizing him!

Friday morning Wess was awarded best of breed best of winners, winners dog and best puppy in group from the classes under respected hound breeder judge Stewart Dankner.

Friday afternoon in the limited hound group show , he was awarded best of breed, best of winners and best puppy in breed under also hound breeder judge Jean-Christophe Boulinguez

-These were both 4 point major wins , which is very rare in Canada to achieve. Winning in an entry of over 10 (2-7-1-1) mini longhaired dachshunds-

Saturday, Wess was awarded best of breed, best puppy in breed and best puppy in group for another 4 points as a special towards his grand championship ! Thank you to judge Barbara Heal for awarding him.

Thank you thank you to my wonderful friend and mentor Amelie for handling Wess this weekend. I am able to learn so much from her experience and expertise! 💖
