Hello!
My name is F***y. I was born on December 19, 2017, in St-Lazare. I come from a Portuguese Water Dog breeder. My family adopted me when I was just 4 months old. I am microchipped, all my vaccinations are up to date, and I regularly go to the veterinarian to make sure I stay in the best possible health.
I grew up in a large house until I was 5 years old. I was raised with the love of my dad (Richard), my mom (Carole), my big sister (Pénélope), and the company of my feline sister Maya—a beautiful, big family! Unfortunately, since my dad passed away suddenly, we had to move, and I am now living in a much smaller apartment.
My family still loves me more than anything, but they have noticed that I am much less happy and fulfilled in this environment, which is too small for me. I have always been a little anxious, but since the move, I have become even more so. I am still a good girl! I know a few commands (sometimes I need a bit of encouragement in the form of chicken liver treats, but I do know them well), such as sit, down, stay, wait, gentle, give paw, and high five! Food motivates me a lot! I am quite a foodie when it comes to treats and anything my family might leave within my reach, but I am not protective of my food bowl at all—I even share it with my sister Maya when she wants to nibble.
I love going on long walks! However, anything with wheels is not really my friend (bikes, skateboards, scooters, etc.), and runners aren’t either. Squirrels make me want to chase them, but I enjoy watching birds. I love being outside in general—I especially enjoy taking naps next to my mom when she reads outdoors.
My family loves me with all their heart, but they understand that I am not necessarily the happiest in this environment. This is a very difficult decision for them, but they want what is best for me. They will miss me terribly, and I will miss them too. They are looking for the best possible family for me—one with a very large living space, preferably a yard, and especially located in a neighborhood with large green spaces where I can enjoy the best walks possible!
