German Short-haired pointers (GSPs) are versatile, medium sized dog with a goofy, loveable nature. They may have a low maintenance coat, but they need a lot of exercise and attention so this breed is not for everyone. 🏃‍♀️🚴‍♀️

Developed as a sporting breed in the late 1800's, they are known for their power, speed, agility and endurance. Their average life span is 12-14 years, and they don't tend to slow down much as they age. GSPs are generally very friendly with other dogs, patient with children (though caution is still needed around toddlers with excitability and whip-like tail). 💯

Why is this better than occasional grooming❓
Dogs groomed only every 3 to 6 months may see it as a punishment, while those groomed every few weeks see it as routine.

But my dog doesn’t need a haircut that often❗
