Vacation time has come and I’ll have limited access to my account. Your precious babies are being cared for by my trusted pet sitter and she will send me lots of updates! For kittens going home in early September please take the time to read your go home information pinned to the top of my page! It’s hard to leave them but we must take care of ourselves too. From the first day we moved into our new Maplemoon Home this summer we were greeted with Steveighs litter arriving just as they set the stairs to our mini home. Anyone who knows me knows that I have a soft spot for our sweet blue kittens (grey) just like our mascot Sweet Pea! When this group arrived there was one striking boy among many but he simply stood out in his colouring and his calmness. I thought he was originally a girl but oops his parts began to develop. No problem said his chosen family…Dad Marc-Andre said we will call him Cosmo Kramer! We all had a good laugh and continued to share his updates. His family needed an extended pick up time so we boarded him here for a bit longer then usual but he had our cattery pick sister Taryn-Abby to keep him company. Then the long awaited day came and like many of the kittens he hid when his family was due to arrive! There are many ups downs and oopsies in breeding world and I’m thankful for the flexibility of gracious families. We finally found him and presented him to a sweet 12 year old girl who was so thrilled to meet him. As I share the final pictures of him firmly secured in their daughter’s arms the dad informs me that his daughter’s “childhood is complete!” I just melted hearing this for there is nothing more complimentary then hearing your kitten with whom you’ve shared so much and come to love has fit in perfectly in their new loving home. I’d say Cosmo has won the lottery here too! Thank you for allowing me to share your families story…definitely one of my favs!
