Most dog owners don't need a better dog.

They need a better plan.

The pulling, the lunging, the barking, the chaos every time another dog shows up isn't happening because your dog is stubborn. It's happening because every walk is teaching something, whether you mean it to or not.

And the longer it goes on, the harder it gets to enjoy the dog you brought home in the first place.

I'm opening a limited number of one-on-one training spots for July.

If you're tired of dreading walks, avoiding people, crossing the street, or feeling like your dog is running the show, let's fix it.

Book before July and you'll lock in my current rates.

DM TRAINING.

This is your reminder that your dog was not designed to spend all day staring out the front window waiting for you to come home.

Renee posted these Friday night after her dog's first day back at daycare.

A puppy so absolutely cooked she couldn't even make it to her bed before crashing on the floor

People always ask me what dogs do all day here.

They run, they play, they make friends, they make terrible decisions, they run some more, and then they go home looking like somebody hit the off switch.

We're accepting a few new daycare dogs right now.

If your dog needs friends, exercise, enrichment, or maybe just a better social life than you have, send me a message.

I don't think people realize what they're actually paying for when they bring their dog to daycare.

I mean sure, there's a building and a yard and staff and all that stuff.

But when I looked outside today, what I saw was a French Bulldog throwing herself at a stream of water with the kind of confidence I wish I had in half the decisions I've made in my life.

The water was winning.

The water had been winning for quite some time.

The water was going to continue winning.

None of this information seemed relevant to her.

Meanwhile the Berner/Newf was sitting there watching the whole thing unfold and I swear she looked concerned.

I stood there laughing and thought, this is it.

This is the thing.

This is why I've spent 15 years cleaning up dog s**t, filling water buckets, breaking up arguments over tennis balls and explaining to people that no, your dog did not starve to death because he missed one snack.

Dogs need more than a backyard.

They need friends.

They need things to do.

They need places to be.

They need stories.

And some of those stories apparently involve spending twenty minutes trying to bite water.

Honestly, if your dog comes home tired, happy and with absolutely no idea what time it is, that's a pretty good day.

We've got room for a few new daycare dogs.

Send me a message and we'll see if your dog would fit in with our particular brand of chaos.

You don't spend 15 years picking up other people's dog s**t because it's fun.

Trust me.

This morning I was out cleaning yards, filling water buckets, doing the usual stuff and it hit me...

I've been doing dog daycare for 15 years. Fifteen.

That's weird.

I've watched puppies turn into old dogs.

I've watched clients get married, have kids, move houses, change jobs and then one day show up with another puppy.

And somehow I'm still here. Still picking up s**t. Still covered in dog hair. Still getting excited when a nervous dog finally settles in.

I don't really know where I'm going with this. It was just one of those moments where I stopped and thought,

"Huh. Fifteen years. That's pretty damn cool."

We're accepting a select few new daycare dogs.

DM me "DAYCARE" if you're looking for a place that gives a s**t about your dog long after the invoice is paid.

We know when your baby is born.

We know when someone you love dies.

We know when you get married, get divorced, move into a new house, start a new job, or finally get that haircut you've been talking about for six months.

And yes... we know your dog's name.

Because around here, you're not just dropping your dog off and driving away.

After enough years, enough conversations at pickup, enough muddy paws and life updates, people stop feeling like clients.
They start feeling like people we genuinely care about.

Some of the dogs in our daycare have been coming here for almost a decade.
That's not because we're the fanciest daycare in town.
It's because when we ask how you're doing, we actually give a damn about the answer.

We're accepting a select few new daycare dogs.

If you're looking for more than just somewhere to leave your dog for the day, send us a message.

You don't need a 10 week class full of chaos to learn how to have enjoyable walks with your dog

The pulling, embarrassment, sore shoulders have done you in. It's easier to just take the dog out for quick potty breaks than to gear up physically and emotionally for what you already know is likely to be a s**t show.

In my 1:1 training I don't just toss random, cookie cutter advice at you and send you on your way. I walk every step with you from teaching you how to communicate clearly with the dog in front of you. How to move your body to help guide your dog. I'll show you where the gaps are and help you fix them.

No magic. No bulls**t. No " thos works for every dog and owner".

If walks are a hell you've been avoiding, you need to DM me "Training"

I have a few spots left for June

“How does a room full of dogs end up like this by the afternoon?” 😂

This is always the part people don’t expect.

People picture daycare as nonstop chaos all day long. Dogs bouncing around, barking, wrestling, acting ridiculous for 8 hours straight.

But honestly, when the group is right, they eventually settle into each other. They burn energy, figure out the flow of the group, and start relaxing instead of staying hyped up all day.

And eventually half the room is snoring.

Honestly, this is one of my favourite things to watch here because it tells me way more than the wild play sessions do.

Dogs don’t fully relax and pass out beside each other if they don’t feel safe.

And this is exactly why I’m careful about the dogs we bring into our daycare group.

We’re accepting a select few new daycare dogs right now, but fit matters here. A lot.

If you’re looking for a structured, safe group where your dog can socialize, learn how to settle, and come home tired in the best possible way, send us a message 🐾

This picture kinda says everything I’d want people to know about our daycare.

Not the fancy stuff. Not marketing. Not “high energy group play” buzzwords.

Just dogs that feel comfortable here.

Dogs that know us. Dogs that trust us. Dogs that can fully relax beside each other instead of spending all day overstimulated and out of their minds.

I care a stupid amount about these dogs. My staff does too. We notice when they’re off, tired, overwhelmed, extra clingy, extra spicy, whatever. You get to know dogs really well when you spend years with them.

And honestly, I think that’s why so many of them keep coming back year after year. 🖤

We’ve got a few daycare spots opening up if your dog needs this kind of place.
