Introducing Hannah!

Hannah has been part of the Dog Haven family for a little over a year, bringing so much care and dedication to our daycare pups. She works hard to make sure every dog has a safe, fun, and enriching experience while in our care. She has a special way with the shy pups, helping them feel comfortable and gain confidence in our playgroups.

Beyond her love for dogs, Hannah is also artistic! She enjoys drawing adorable designs on our staff whiteboards, especially during the fun holiday seasons. Her creativity and kind nature make her such a valued part of our team!

Fun fact: Hannah also has some of her Alberta welding tickets—so she’s not just great with dogs, but with metal too!

Introducing Lori!

Lori is one of our senior staff members, having been with us for 4 and a half amazing years!

She brings so much joy and energy to our daycare, whether she’s leading the “Talkative Tuesday Choir” (the pups certainly join in with plenty of excitement!) or reading stories to the dogs during quiet moments. Lori is also a karaoke enthusiast, always ready to brighten the day with a tune and a smile.

We’re always looking for ways to improve your experience, and we have some exciting updates to share!

1. 𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢
If you haven’t booked with us yet this year, you’ll notice we’ve officially said goodbye to our paper schedule book and ID cards—everything is now in our new digital system! With this transition, there are a few important changes we’ve had to make.

2. 𝘼𝙙𝙙-𝙊𝙣 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙚𝙙
With our new system, we will no longer be offering discounts on add-on services. However, we’re excited to introduce seasonal promotions throughout the year, so keep an eye out for special offers!

3. 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙤𝙤𝙣: 𝙊𝙣𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜!
We’re also super excited to share our future plans to open up online booking, making it easier than ever to schedule your pup’s appointment! Stay tuned for updates on when this will be available. For now, and if you prefer, you can still message us to book!

Introducing Christine!

Christine has been with us for 3 years and is one of our daycare supervisors. Her dedication and positive energy have made her an essential part of the team.

Christine is our “jack of all trades”, always bringing a giant smile to everything she does. Whether she’s greeting clients at the reception desk, bathing dogs in the salon, or working in the daycare, her versatility shines through. Her love for the pups and her sunny disposition make her a true standout.

We understand that the cold weather can make it tricky to get them all the way to the grass before an accident happens, but we appreciate your efforts in being considerate of our neighbors and their property. Meet Lexie!

Lexie has been one of our senior pet stylists and an essential part of Dog Haven for the past four years, and her talent has earned her quite the following—especially among Dachshunds! Her patience, skill, and love for pups of all kinds make her a favorite among clients, and her attention to detail ensures every dog leaves looking and feeling amazing.

Lexie is also on an exciting new journey—she’s expecting a baby boy! She’ll be leaving us in May 2025 to welcome her little one, but don’t worry, she plans to return. We’ll miss her during her time away, but we couldn’t be more thrilled for this next chapter in her life.

Fun fact: Lexie is a huge Disney fan! Whenever we need a little pick-me-up in the salon, Disney music is our go-to—thanks to her influence.
