The First Aid for Dogs hands on course provides comprehensive instruction in essential emergency care skills for pets.
What we will cover:
Recognising Normal Vital Signs: Learn how to assess your pet's heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature. Understanding baseline values enables you to promptly identify abnormalities.
Addressing Respiratory and Cardiac Emergencies: Acquire essential skills such as canine CPR. Be equipped to act quickly if your pet experiences choking or breathing difficulties. With our Casper CPR dogs, you can practise CPR under realistic conditions.
Treating Wounds and Managing Bleeding: Whether faced with minor cuts or more severe injuries, gain knowledge on proper wound cleaning, bleeding control, and safe bandaging techniques for pets.
Responding to Seizures: Learn to recognise seizure symptoms and implement safety measures to protect your pet during these events. Additionally, understand when veterinary intervention is necessary.
Preventative Care: Maintain your pets' health through disease prevention strategies and emergency preparedness. Discover methods to promote longevity and well-being in your pets.
If you work professionally with dogs. This course tells you clients that you are certified in Dog first aid.

We are delighted to extend an invitation for you, and your dog to participate in our upcoming agility classes.

Our classes provide a comprehensive foundation in agility skills and prepare both dogs and handlers for success in the sport.

By using toys, treats, games, and positive reinforcement, you will motivate your dog and boost its confidence.

We will cover games, body conditioning, body awareness, and life skills to ensure a comprehensive training experience for you and your dog.

New dogs class starts January 10th at 1 pm
1 hour per week
Classes run 4 weeks

We have a couple of spots left
Super excited to invite you to our new set of agility classes.

Our SPRING foundational class will introduce you and your dog to the sport of agility.

Using a combination of toys and treats, games and positive reinforcement,
you will motivate and build confidence in your dog.

We will be introducing them to the tunnels, jumps, and other
foundation training skills.

We will introduce games, body conditioning and body awareness.
We will also work on life skills recalls etc. to give you a well rounded
training experience for you and your dog.

The class is at Central Saanich Road. Plenty of parking in the lot.

The class starts Saturday March 1st at 2 pm

Please wait outside until instructed to come in.

Dogs must be on leash at all times.
Please have dogs on a collar or harness and a six foot leash.

Bring lots of treats, maybe ½ breakfast for your dog on the day.
All dogs have a personal space please allow this for all the dogs in your class.

Classes run 4 week blocks March 1st to March 22nd, 2025
