We’re long overdue for this introduction, but we’re so excited to officially welcome Megan Reiber to our team! 🐾💙
Megan joined us back in August after graduating from Lakeland College this spring. Growing up on a grain farm south of Wiseton, she’s always had a passion for animals and the medical field—so becoming a Registered Veterinary Technologist was the perfect fit.
Her favourite part of vet med? Getting to meet all kinds of animals and unique cases. She especially loves surgery days, where she gets to put her skills to work and learn something new every time. ✂️🐶🐱
Outside of work, Megan’s life is full of furry friends: three horses (Special, Wren, and Juice), five spoiled barn cats (with Lucy as her favourite), and her new poodle puppy, Phoebe! 🐴🐈🐩 When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find her riding or spending time with friends.
We’re so grateful to have Megan’s energy, skill, and love for animals on our team. Drop a 🐾 in the comments to help us give her a big welcome!

This week, we’re celebrating the incredible veterinary technicians who are the heart and soul of Eagle Creek Veterinary Services! 💙

These amazing women are more than just vet techs — they’re animal advocates, medical professionals, and compassionate caregivers. From assisting in surgeries and monitoring anesthesia, to comforting nervous pets and educating owners, they do it all with skill, dedication, and love.

Whether it’s a wagging tail or a purring patient, they are there to make sure every animal receives the best care possible. Their knowledge, patience, and tireless work behind the scenes keep our clinic running smoothly and our patients thriving.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the ECVS family to yours! As we celebrate the season, we’d like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your trust in us with your animal care. We are grateful to be able to get to know and care for you and your animals, big and small.
Thank you to our staff for all their dedication, creativity, and compassion.

After-hours services are available in case of emergency. The office will be open for prescriptions, retail services, and emergencies December 27, 30, and 31.

Happy Holidays!
The office will be open for retail, prescriptions, and emergencies only between Christmas and New Years. Emergency services are available throughout the entire holiday season. All regular services resume January 2nd. We hope you have a safe and restful holiday season! 🐾

For the month of December, we invite you to help us collect donations for our local animal rescue, KAWS! This dedicated group has helped find loving homes for cats, dogs, and even guinea pigs! You can help by donating monetary funds or dropping off animal supplies listed in the post (please note, KAWS is at maximum capacity for towels, blankets, sheets, and dog food and cannot accept these items at this time).

KAWS has been lovely to work with and we are so glad to have this service in the area. Thank you, KAWS!
