Been awhile since I updated this page.
We are now located in the beautiful country of Panama.
Two corgi boys reside here with us. Flyer has joined us. He is enjoying semi retirement as couch potato. But may take him to some shows in Panama.
Alenclaud Gabriel is our resident pembroke. Having been to his first shows this past January, he did well. He has been growing up a bit and will be out to shows soon.
I still co own some girls in Canada and will post here any updates on them or upcoming litters.

Prada

With our upcoming move to Panama, I sadly cannot take everyone with me.
I have made the difficult decision to offer my lovely girl Prada to a co ownership home.
Prada is 2 years. A Canadian champion. Sprinter Novice. I have stared obedience training.
She is healthy. DM and PRA clear.
She gets along with other dogs.
Is a sweet girl. Can be a chewer though is her only bad habit.

Available only on a co ownership to an approved show/breeding home.

I will be grooming her this weekend and getting better photos at this weekends dog show.

I will be picky as to where this lovely girl goes!

Flyer has had an incredible year.
Winning 4 Best in Shows and one reserve BIS. A first for a cardigan.
He is the only male cardigan in Canadian history to win more than one BIS
He is also the top grp 1 winner for cardis in breed history in Canada
He has also won 10 Best Veteran in Show and multiple best veteran in grp.
He has been the top herding grp veteran all year.
And he achieved his novice sprinter and veteran novice sprinter
Still a couple more shows than a well deserved retirement, as we figure out where that will be.

So incredibly happy to be able to make such a post, after many, many, many years showing dogs, a Best in Show alluded me. Best in Specialty shows with smooth collies yes, but not an all breed Best. Many group firsts and top dog in breed over the years with many beautiful dogs I have been blessed with over the years.
Fly Guy is such a special dog. He loves the show ring. He loves to fly around that ring. He loves to be my dog show travel buddy.
I knew he just needed the right judge. And when I saw the panel for Brandon, I knew it was a good shot. I knew two judges their were good for him. And they did not disappoint!!! Unfortunately Gail did not judge Best in Show for the show she gave him group one. So who knows how that would have went.
Being in Panama for the winter, and actually currently in Cuba, I had to take the chance on sending him out with someone new to him.
That also paid off. Xander Scriver and his team did a beautiful job. I can't thank them enough.
Special thanks to my bonus sister Heather Hempstock for conditioning, loving, support, and being Flyes chauffeur.

This win breaks the 12 year streak of no Best in shows in canada for a cardigan. I believe he also broke the record for most number of group firsts for a cardigan, now having 10.

Some wins and photos I neglected to post from 2023

I haven't updated this page in awhile.
Here is how 2023 ended. Two of our dogs in the number one spot for their breed!
Very proud of both these wonderful dogs.
Anika is already off to a wonderful start of 2024.
