Shaddock's Paddocks in Rockwood, ON has stalls coming available for boarding or training.

Quiet, mature and drama free private farm with a lovely group of people. No lesson program so lots of arena time.
Your own coach, vet, farrier and other practitioners are welcome.

At Shaddock's Paddocks, we focus on hunter, equitation, jumper, with lots of local showing and schooling opportunities. On-site trailering available.

In addition to acces to trails and hacking, we have a great location that is 15 minutes from Angelstone and Meadowlark North, and 45 minutes from Caledon Equestrian Park.

We have an EC certified coach available for lessons, and are looking for like minded individuals who actively ride their horses!

Boarding includes:
-10x12 stalls, most with windows
-Clean, bright and airy barn
-80'x160' attached indoor arena with quality and well maintained dust free footing
-Full course of jumps and various fill
-80'x120' outdoor sand ring
-Daily stall cleaning and replenishment of bedding with dust free bedding
-Individualized feeding of masterfeeds grain, soaked, and with owner provided supplements daily
-Access to generous amounts of high quality hay indoors (forage first diets!)
-All day turn out in compatible herds (10-12 hours daily in fall, winter and spring, and Hybrid/extended turnout in summer months)
- 3 acre fields - Mares and Geldings separate
-Round bales (2 per field) provided in winter months and as needed throughout the rest of the year
-Salt blocks provided in stalls and pastures
-Blanketing for turnout (1 on, 1 off) (Fly sheets excluded)
-Booting for turnout (for medical purposes as recommended by an attending Veterinarian)
-Fly masks on for tunrout
-Night check every night
-Basic first aid
-Knowledgeable owners with over 40 years combined experience in the equine industry
-Owners live on property
-24h Security and smart home monitoring installed for smoke detection

⚠ THIS FRIDAY⚠

The Junior Ambassadors present our first ring side clinic, focusing on rider mental health, show nerves and how to work through mental blocks as well as our physical health and what we can do out of the saddle to stay fit and healthy to ride better and support our equine athletes.

We welcome guest speakers Deanna DeSantis from Evolution Counselling and Megan Glynn from Halt Square.

Our Jr. ambassadors will also be announcing a new initiative at the end of the clinic.

All are welcome, and attendance is free.

Shaddock's Paddocks is proud to be hosting Ryan Roy for a show prep clinic on April 20th.

Get individualized feedback from an R rated judge before we dive into 2024 show season.

Hunters and jumpers welcome!

Ryan Roy has been competing, training, and coaching for over 25 years.
She has competed all over North America, with top wins in the hunter and derby rings as well as being successful in coaching both junior and amateurs to wins at the Royal Winter Fair and is also a certified ‘R’ rated judge.

Cost is $150/rider, 1 free auditor per rider, additional auditors are $20
Max 5 riders per hour and a half group.

Ponies
Green horses
2 foot 6
2 foot 9
3 foot plus
