There are only a few days left to show you care about the over 3.7 million dogs, cats, rabbits, mice, fish and other animals who were used in scientific research and toxicity testing last year.
If you havenβt already, please show your support for non-animal testing alternatives by signing e-petition 6841 before January 30.
Canadians want modern, humane and innovative methods to replace cruel animal testing. Each year in our country, about 100,000 animals are subjected to procedures that cause severe pain and distress, and another 1.1 million animals are subjected to moderate to severe distress.
Animals are suffering, even though better options are available.
