EV's Pet Bandanas Etc

It all started as a simple hobby... They attach with plastic snap buttons.

All pet bandanas are fully reversible and made with new or previously loved materials, with a layer of interfacing in between, to ensure that they don't roll over time. Sizes and prices:
Small (fit neck between 9" and 12" / cats and small dogs): $12
Medium (fit neck between 13" and 16" / medium dogs): $15
Large (fit neck between 18" and 21" / large dogs): $18

With the leftover material, I make

skin care pads, in packs of 7 (one for each day of the week!). The skin care side of the skin care pads (terry cloth or fleece) is strictly new fabric, but the colorful side is either new or previously loved fabric. Sizes and prices:
Small (3"x3" / pack of 7): $13
Large (5"x5" / pack of 7): $16

Shipping anywhere in Canada is available, for an extra $3. Contact me for custom orders (larger sizes) - if I have fabric that you like on hand, I will do my best to make something for you!

Meet Finley (4 year-old) and Dougall (7 year-old) Boston terriers, brothers from different mothers. These two get along great despite their vastly different interests. Where Finley is a fan of classic operas (The Barker of Seville being his favorite), Dougall prefers the early millennium rappers (Lil’ Bow Wow being his go-to album). Dougall enjoys a career as a magician - he specializes in tricks where he makes food disappear! Give him a steak, and you don’t even have the time to say abracadabra that it is gone! As for Finley, he enjoys a career away from the spotlight as a jack-of-all-trade: part-time life coach, poetry writer and household coordinator, he also chairs the local chapter of the Wildlife Obsessive Observation Federation (you know, the WOOF), and guarantees that not a chipmunk will go unnoticed in the neighborhood. They can be seen enjoying their new bandanas: frogs and shore birds in size medium for Finley and dinosaurs and dinosaur foot prints in size large for Dougall.

Know a pet who needs to dress up for a wedding this Summer? I special ordered a small amount of wedding themed fabric for such an occasion and I have a little bit of fabric left. I can make a medium or two small bandanas with what I have left. I can mail or you can pick up from Made with Love - Janet's Bake Shop and Crafts. Let me know! (As usual, the pic shows the two fabrics that will be used as all my bandanas are reversible.)

Louise has a very important Public Service Announcement: her royal catness has graciously allowed me to bring my bandanas (she will be quick to remind you that she inspired this little endeavour of mine) at the Meet the Maker Event tomorrow at Made with Love - Janet's Bake Shop and Crafts, between 10 and 1. And also allowed me to show some of the new designs making an appearance tomorrow. Including new tic-tac-toe games. Which she loves. Well not so much the game itself as much as the glass pebbles. They make the perfect accessory for 3 am zoomies, with just the right amount of noise when batted around on the kitchen floor. The “ping” against the fridge is the crowning note of this nocturnal symphony! Anyway, she digresses! Tomorrow - 10 to 1, see you there! But not Louise…. Her night time routine will have her exhausted and that part of the day is prime nap time!

Meet Wyatt, 5 years-old happy mix (a little bit of this, a little bit of that, a lot of chihuahua!). Wyatt is the illegitimate son of a Texas oil magnate’s guard dog (at least that’s what is biological mother told him). He grew up on the street and saw bad things, terrible things (like cats). At some point, he was forced at claw point to become a mule between rival cat gangs, the Siamese cartel and the Hymalayan mafia. Once he turned informant, his life was in danger and he had to come to Canada under the Witness Protection Program. Fear not, these details can be shared now that the feline catnip wars of his younger years have quieted down (rumour has it they grew old and lazy and are more into naps these days). Wyatt is happily enjoying his new life and simply loves meeting new dogs and their humans. No more street roaming for him, he travels in style with his every need catered for by his favorite human. He is seen here wearing one of his brand new bandanas!

Voici Wyatt, 5 ans joyeux mélange (un peu de ceci, un peu de cela, beaucoup de chihuahua !). Wyatt est le fils illégitime du chien de garde d'un magnat du pétrole texan (du moins, c'est ce que sa mère biologique lui a dit). Il a grandi dans la rue et a vu des choses mauvaises, des choses terribles (comme des chats). À un moment donné, il a été forcé sous la menace des griffes de devenir une mule entre des gangs de chats rivaux, le cartel siamois et la mafia hymalayenne. Une fois devenu informateur, sa vie était en danger et il a dû venir au Canada dans le cadre du Programme de protection des témoins. N'ayez crainte, ces détails peuvent être partagés maintenant que les guerres félines de l'herbe à chat de ses jeunes années se sont calmées (la rumeur dit qu'ils sont devenus vieux et paresseux et qu'ils sont plus enclins à faire la sieste ces jours-ci). Wyatt profite joyeusement de sa nouvelle vie et adore simplement rencontrer de nouveaux chiens et leurs humains. Fini les balades dans les rues, il voyage avec style, son humaine préférée étant aux petits soins pour tous ses besoins. On le voit ici portant l'un de ses tout nouveaux bandanas

Je vous présente Zazie, Labradoodle de 9.5 ans, auteure de livres best-seller de recettes gastronomiques canines. (C'est vrai que c'est un genre un peu niche). En effet, Zazie est une foodie qui se passione pour la cuisine à base de resources locales. Il y a même rumeur que sa recette de braisé de contre-filet d'écureuil dans son confit d'écrapou de raton-laveur routier aux herbes de fossé est en liste pour l'un des fameux "Nonosse d'or" du guide Michelin. Zazie a profité de l'arrivée du printemps pour rafraîchir sa coupe de cheveux, et de par ses photos avant-après, vous démontre avec plaisir que les bandanas vont pour toute occasion!

Meet Kanelle, 3 yr-old Golden Doodle and black belt good girl. She is an enthusiastic greeter with a part-time gig as a couch warmer. She is proud to live with a real-life teenage superhero who valiantly battles microscopic villainous cells trying to invade his body. He goes on frequent quests to this faraway kingdom where magic potions called chemo are helping him in his mission. Kanelle keeps asking to go as she would love to be a kick-ass sidekick fighting cats along with the labradors. “Cats? Labradors?” you may ask… You see, Kanelle is a very attentive dog and ever since she heard of the cat scans and lab tests at that faraway kingdom, she has been wanting to go! Kanelle is seen here wearing her custom-made bandana on Easter morning. Ever the gentleman, her resident superhero wanted to help her make it clear to the world that her pronouns are she/her, hence the flowery pattern. Remember Anna? Our favorite 7 yr-old German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix is back to proudly show her first subcription bandana! After balls and squirrels, watching the mailbox may soon show up in her top 10 of favorite activities! You know how some people smile so genuinely that their eyes disappear? Well this leggy brunette demonstrates that with dogs, it is the ears that disappear when the heart is happy! And what more could she want? The Spring smells are out in all their glory, she gets regular walks on the beach, a comfy house to come back to, her trusty emotional support red ball by her side and the best human a good girl can ask for! (Yes, a human whose eyes disappear!). Be like Anna and take a moment to take stock of the little things that make you happy.

Meet Frank, 5 month-old Dachshund. When he was little (well... littler), Frank wanted to become a giraffe when he grew up, but he eventually learned that giraffe-dom (or is it giraffe-hood?) is a lot like royalty... you need to be born into it. So instead, he is now dreaming of being a spy, or an international pup of mystery. It is the perfect career for him as he usually flies (and walk, run and jump) under the radar. He is already practicing is future career and has resolved the case of the mysteriously disappearing socks. He knows where they are, but of course, he won't tell you. This career is not without risk, and one can get soooo invested in his undercover persona that one may have accidently been the one who stole the socks in the first place... Hypothetically speaking, of course. Frank, or Frankie for close friends, or Frank-it-is-a-good-thing-you-are-so-cute for people benefiting from his puppy mischief, is seen here proudly wearing his brand new Canada themed bandana, size Small.

Meet Anna, 7-year old German shepherd/rottweiler mix and professional good girl. Anna is a kindness ambassador and her mission in life is to demonstrate that love comes in all shapes and sizes. She loves long walks on the beach at sunrise, sunset and any time in between. As an avid mental health supporter, she is not shy to admit that she herself benefits from the support of her emotional support ball. Anna believes in etiquette and takes thank you notes seriously, as evidenced in one of her pictures. She is seen here sporting her brand new size Large bandana. Anna may grace this page again, as her super cool human is the first person ever to ask for a subscription to bandanas... She will be watching the postman eagerly for the next year as she receives 6 surprise bandanas in the mail!

Louise is back and is unimpressed! Notice her raised hackles and poofy tail. While she is forced to temporarily cohabitate with her feline aunts (as she is my grand-cat, my own cats are her aunts!), it is not an encounter with them that caused the reaction (altough that happens on a regular basis - insert a few hisses and growls for full effect). It is also not the fact that someone rustled a plastic bag in her vicinity (you would swear that a bomb was detonated next to her when some inconsiderate soul changes the garbage bag while she is around). No... Louise just found out two terrible news... not only was she not allowed to enter the draw at Made with Love - Janet's Bake Shop and Crafts (one is not allowed to enter a draw when all her bandanas are provided for free!), but she just learned that the winner actually purchased a bandana for a creature that shall not be named (I have no qualms saying that it is a dog, but that is a forbidden word in Louise's vocabulary). Congratulations to B. Steeves, also known as Walter and Esmeralda's human, who entered the draw by purchasing a product from my shelf prior to March 31st, and wins a size Medium bandana!
