Want your bunny featured in our 2027 calendar? We can make your bun a star!

Place your bid for:
- Your bunny as a featured month in our 2027 calendar
- Full photoshoot outtakes from the talented Yang Xia

We aim to feature as many different types of bunnies as possible, so please place your bids big or small. 100% goes to our rescue rabbits in need.

The photoshoot will take place in Vancouver BC, at The Bunny Cafe, September 21+23 from 3-6PM. If you've already been featured in our calendar, I'm afraid it's a one-time-only deal! You can, however, place a bid for one of your favourite bunnies in our care. 🐰🤍

Baby Keara is fighting for her life.

One of our adopters alerted us to a struggling baby in Richmond. There are many bunnies in the area… but something was very wrong with this little babe.

They were dragging one foot behind them as they took shelter in a bush. Their finder was able to scoop them up and bring them to us.

We immediately placed the baby with foster Jen, where they’ve been fighting for their life for the past three weeks.

After 6 vet visits, what first appeared to be a leg injury turned out to be multiple painful abscesses and a serious infection. The abscesses have required repeated flushing, antibiotics, and treatment, while also manually expressing their bladder.

Most recently, they urinated on their own for the first time since arriving, and their previously “paralyzed” leg is beginning to move again as the swelling goes down. Jen is feeding them all of the treats and greens they could want.

They had their 6th checkup last week, and we’re cautiously hopeful... they've been such a fighter.

You're invited to practice yoga with the bunnies. 🐰🧘‍♀️

Celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival with our adorable rescue bunnies at Lansdowne Centre on September 26, 2026, with sessions running between 11AM - 4PM.

We're running 45-minute bunny yoga sessions alongside real-life rescue rabbits. A fun experience for new and experienced yogis (try focusing on your breath as a Flemish Giant snuffles at your head). If you're lucky, some-bun may just perch on you during child's pose. 🤞

Summer appreciation post! The busiest season for our shelter (renovations, colony movements, and events, oh-my!) but also the happiest season for our bun buns.

We’ve had many-a binky party in the outdoor x-pens; according to the bunnies, our upgraded exercise runs are the best thing since sliced bread (chopped kale?).

Outdoor space has been the best therapy for our bunnies: Grass, exercise, and fresh air = medicine for recovering rabbits, long-term residents, GI issues, and more.

So grateful for our sanctuary space. 🐇🤍

Not everyone is able to visit the sanctuary, so we’re giving you the full tour!

Our front enclosures host our current largest colony (25 rabbits) along with a group of 10, and a currently unoccupied micro-rabbitat while we sort some logistics.

Both front enclosures house middle-aged rabbits in similar age groups, ranging between 4-7 years old.

Omg babies!! Six littles have moved to The Bunny Cafe and we are in love.

Meet Trixie, Kensington, Barbie, Maggie, Chickpea, and Gingersnap - all rescued this spring/summer.

Trixie - A midnight rescue from the Vancouver Art Gallery.
Kensington - Solo cutie rescued on Knight + Kingsway.
Barbie - Rescued by a group of neighbourhood kids in East Vancouver!
Maggie - Her nest was accidentally dug up by someone doing yard work in a Richmond garden.
Chickpea - Found downtown Vancouver near the Chickpea food truck.
Gingersnap - A YVR baby brought to a clinic for euthanasia... and so she joined our family.

Special delivery 🤍

We were all set to transport Oatmeal over from the island, when we got an urgent message from our friends at Fantastic Beasts Veterinary Services. | 🐾👩🏼‍⚕️💖

6 babies, just weeks old, were brought to their clinic that morning to be euthanized. No health concerns, but the humans weren’t ready to take on the responsibility of 6 little lives.

It was meant to be, with transport already booked for that very day.

Harbour Air flew them over (thank you so much!!!) and they’re safe and sound with baby foster Jen.

Don’t worry about Oatmeal - she’s become a clinic bunny 🥰🐰 and we’ll bring her over post-spay (pending no one brings her home before then!).
