It’s feeling a little warmer weather where I am in . It’s really amazing to get out in nature not just for you but your dog as well. Studies have shown it will help decompress from a stressful week, become relaxed and produces happy endorphins for both dog and human! What’s not to love! It’s really important that your dog does not get tired, frustrated or any negative feelings when it comes to training. It should feel like a boring game - not bored though! Try and keep your training sessions short and sweet and always check the body language to make sure your dog is consenting.

Your dog is not barking at the window because they’re being stubborn or naughty or any other negative connotation. It could be they have anxiety or are stressed or they simply want to go for a walk. Whatever the reason it’s so important do put a management program in place to help your dog.

I stood and watched the is animal for about 5 minutes (from a safe distance) and they were have the best time! Rolling around, sniffing the ground, not stalling anyone. I know these are dangerous animals but man I love nature.

I’m Becks, owner of pooch positive based in Richmond BC. I am a force free dog trainer with an extra certificate and education in canine behaviour. I’m from England and now call Canada my lovely home.
