As wildfires continue to impact communities across Canada, of Canada is taking action to help pets and the people who love them.

An initial $38,500 in Disaster Response funding has been deployed to the Ontario SPCA and Northern Reach Network to support pets and families affected by the wildfires in Ontario. These grants will help provide emergency care, shelter, pet supplies and other critical resources for pets impacted by the crisis.

As the situation continues to evolve, PetSmart Charities of Canada remains in close contact with partners in other affected provinces and communities to assess emerging needs and provide additional support.

Thanks to generous donors, PetSmart Charities of Canada can respond quickly during emergencies like these, providing critical funding that helps local organizations protect pets and support families when they need it most.❤️
