Meet Ava! She's a little sweetheart, and this month we paid for her spay surgery as part of our ongoing to mission to help our community and foster responsible pet guardianship.

My name is Ava. I have been with my foster family for over 3 months and I can’t seem to figure out why I haven’t found my forever family yet. My foster mom tells me I’m a sweet girl. I must be pretty smart because I get lots of treats. I can sit, shake a paw and lay down. I am also starting to learn to sit by the door when I need to go outside.
I sleep all night in my kennel without a peep. My favorite thing to do is find the squeakiest toy and play with it all day long. After a hard day of playing with my fur siblings I love to cuddle on the couch.

Ava would be a great addition to any family.

Thanks to Metro Pet Market for Spaying It Forward! This month, Metro paid for Winnie’s spay surgery as part of their on-going mission to foster responsible pet guardianship. Winnie came to us in rough shape – a wobbly gait and displaying neurological symptoms. After a vet discovered she had a partially healed broken collarbone, this sweet girl was treated, rehabilitated and spayed.
