This year marked our 20th consecutive year exhibiting cattle at Canadian Western Agribition. It has always been a goal of ours to show Mission Ridge genetics on Supreme Saturday and this was our first year to do it.

We would like to thank everyone who made our fall show season a success including our supportive family, friends, and our fitting crew for show days in Brandon and Regina!

Again this year, we had a pile of fun visiting and meeting new people throughout the week. A special thank you to everyone who stopped by the stall.

We doubled down on our excitement for the week, as Mark and Jody also welcomed their 3rd child, Clint Hordos into their family last Thursday! Looking forward for our next Generation of farmers to take part in what we love to do!

In August, we had the privilege of touring the Churchill herd with Dale and Nancy and had great time visiting as we sorted through the sale offering.

Their passion for the Hereford breed and the renowned herd they have built is a remarkable accomplishment. Congratulations to the Vanhuizen family and entire Churchill team on an outstanding sale!

First and foremost thank you to the Weinbender family for hosting, as well as all of our friends and family who lent a hand helping us put the sale on. It takes a lot of extra hands and we appreciate you!

The quilt donated by Prarie Hugs was purchased by Sliding Hills Charolais, and then was donated back to be resold again, which was then purchased by the Yasinowski family! The wild rags donated by S7 Wild Rags were purchased by Dee’s Kennels, Mike and Joanne Neilson, Clayton Hawreluik!

After some additional cash donations, we will be Donating $4500 to Hope’s Home on behalf of Grace. Thank you so much to all who participated and donated to this year’s fundraiser!!

Grace’s Blanket Auction is back for another year!

A Special thank you to Prairie Hugs (The Frankl family) for donating another beautiful quilt and S7 Wildrags & Accessories for donating Mommy & Me and Daddy & Me wild rag sets!

All proceeds of our auction will go to Hope’s Home Regina on behalf of Grace. Hope’s Home has provided excellent support and care for Grace allowing her to live close to the farm, and receive the medical support she needs.

Join us in person on March 15 at Canora, or on DLMS to support this wonderful cause!
