What a great weekend! Now that the dust has settled, the arena cleared,there is a a very quiet space here at double barrel Arena. We really enjoyed hosting the cowboy dressage clinic & show due to the rainy weather in Midale.
Just wanted to say a few thank you’s, Jade Bloor-show organizer, Hayley Moats-clinician and Judge, fancy coffee delivery-Kim, scribes, Callers, all the new and previous participants in the clinic and the show, the L6 leather 4-H club for providing lunch for us on Sunday, to all the helpers and parents doing costume changing to sweeping & picking up after horses, and a big thank you to Laurie Wolter for bringing us supper at the end of our show day it was so greatly appreciated!! That was so very kind of you!
Reid and I are very happy to have been able to have you guys come and share our place with you all! Let’s do it again soon!!

What a great way to spend the weekend! Started off with a 2 day clinic with one of the founders of Cowboy Dressage, Lyn Ringrose-Moe!! It was great! Learned some new things and tweaked a few old things! We then ended our weekend with a 1 day show judged by Lyn! Factory Cat (Biscuit) and I did very well and came home with ribbons! I am so proud of how far we have come in this new discipline and keep getting better as we go! Thank you to Rough Bark Arena for hosting! Aways a great time!

This past weekend (Thursday to Sunday) was definitely one for the books. A Blizzard in April! Haha of course there was!
We started off with a clinic on Thursday to sharpen up our cutting skills before the big show on Friday! This weekend I showed our mares Factory Cat and Hotter Than May. Both horses did wonderful!! We managed to place and come home with earnings!! 💵 I really do love my fiery redheads!! It was very neat to ride two very different horses and experience the way they get the job done! So cool!

I’d also like to put a huge thank you out to the people that make this show happen and all the hard work that goes into it from the secretary, the show manager, the turn back help, the trainers, the clinicians, the judge, to the competitors that make up the classes for me to enter. It really takes a whole whack of people to pull off a show so, THANK YOU! I definitely appreciate all the help and hard work in the pen and outside of the pen! Especially for the Ranch cutters at the end of the day for the people that stick around right till the last cutter, we appreciate you!!
