Hello! Just a few important notices!

I am closing for August 14th to August 18th for a small vacation and will not be replying to clients during those times.

I am also closing for September 1st to 5th for another small vacation and will not be replying during that time. This will also push back Septembers Nail Clinic to September 11th from 10am to 2pm.

The website is still on track to be online starting in the fall.

I was spoiled so soon with another foster groom! Honey was so good for her groom, took only a few minutes to warm up and then she was so happy just to be there.

Honey is available for adoption threw Homes Dog Rescue of SETX.

Its been awhile that I have done a rescue dog groom 🥰 Spicket did so amazing for his first time with me, I fell in love with his sweet playful personality.

Appointments like these, the priority is always making sure they dont stress to much and to get all the problem areas done so they dont always turn out prefect but I am so impressed with Spickets behavior in today's groom. He was so excited to be here and gave me lots of love. He was just scared of the sound of the scissors by his face and front feet.

Appointments like these make me fall in love with my job all over again 😍

Spicket is available for adoption at Furever Homes Dog Rescue! He is going to make a family very happy 😊

I have taken my pet first aid course and I feel much more capable in the case of an emergency 🙏 I am praying I dont have to use it but I am so glad to have the knowledge.

One thing people don’t always realize about grooming?

Sometimes the biggest accomplishment isn’t the haircut.
It’s building trust.

Not every dog walks into the salon confident and relaxed. Some are nervous about dryers. Some hate having their feet touched. Some had a bad experience somewhere else. Some are just puppies trying to figure out the world.

So a lot of grooming is actually about reading body language and helping dogs feel safe.

Sometimes that means slowing down.
Taking breaks.
Talking softly.
Changing our approach.
Or deciding that emotional comfort matters more than getting a “perfect” haircut that day.

Because the goal isn’t just getting through the appointment.
The goal is helping your dog learn that grooming doesn’t have to be scary.
And honestly, owners who consistently bring nervous dogs in — even when it’s hard — are doing something really important. Repeated calm experiences help dogs build confidence over time.

That patience and consistency truly matters more than you know. 🐶💕
